Christina, I understand your stay was not ideal due to the building being painted and the lanai screens replaced throughout after a devastating hurricane. However, I have been more than understanding and accommodating throughout your stay. First and foremost, this project was initially to begin in July and not during your stay. Unfortunately, I cannot control these improvements, earlier start times, nor can I control the noise caused by the machinery used for these repairs. I as well cannot control you working at night and not able to sleep during the day due to these repairs. As far as people entering the condo, I was told after you left they tried knocking and have also posted throughout building they will need to open doors in order to paint the edges. This may have been missed on your part and you were caught by surprise. Even with all of this being said I refunded you the remainder of the time you did not stay, including fees, and charges by VRBO. If you look at my refund policy there are no refunds 7 days prior to your stay. However, I did refund you over $2000 to you and you are still not satisfied? If you were at a hotel and construction was occurring you would’ve never been refunded your money. As far as my condo inside, it is not meant for children. I stated this in my description. There are glass tables with sharp edges etc. my furniture has normal wear and tear and condo has always been clean. No one has ever complained about the cleanliness of my condo. As a matter of fact, the comments are always excellent since we make sure the condo is in pristine condition. If there was a lightbulb that went out there are plenty in the pantry closet for replacement. If a lightbulb goes out in your home do you not simply replace it? The area itself is mostly retirees and I have been here for 3 years and never has anyone been rude to me. I again cannot control what interactions you may have while you stay at the condo. I know you are unhappy and I apologize for what I can control. However, most of these complaints are without any face value whatsoever. I went above and beyond to make it right for you and it was not enough. Some people are just never satisfied. Wishing you lots of luck in your future stays.

I have been renting my condo for over a year and a half to many visitors from all over the world. I have never had guests destroy, damage and/or misrepresented my condo or the area. Please look at all of my previous guest’s reviews. My condo was in perfect working order and condition until your stay. Lets begin with the truth- First, hot water was never an issue as a matter of fact it was just replaced and upgraded into a new system per HOA request not due to damage or non working unit. Second, the sink leak was during your stay which somehow the sink came off from the granite counter? I have had to repair this as well, along with new comforters, sheets, broken decorating pieces, stained cushions/ comforters/ pillows/, missing items, ( PICTURES OF DAMAGES AVAILABLE)plumbers and deep cleaning to the additional $180 cleaning fee I charge during the stay. The $250 additional charge from the cleaning company does not even cover all of these expenses which you have chosen to ignore and have not paid as of todays date. You also did not pay ten thousand dollars for your stay. I was also informed you had additional people staying with you which you never disclosed in your initial reservation as well as 3 dogs which is also not allowed. As for the additional membership fees, please read closely the description since I clearly state those amenities are available for an additional charge- Burnt Store Marina charges not mine. As for the area, this particular location is primarily for people who are boaters, enjoy fishing, sailing and golfing. While the majority might be older there’s people of all ages and from all parts of the country who live an visit here daily. Many find this area relaxing and enjoyable. You may consider researching your next vacation area more thoroughly next time since this has no reflection on my condo.
