Appréciation sur l'appartement

Appartement agréable, ensoleillé, calme. Pas de problème pour se garer et de plus l'arrêt de bus pour se rendre au centre ville est très proche. Très bonne communication avec la propriétaire. Nous n'hésiterions pas à revenir dans cet appartement si nous faisions un nouveau séjour à Aix en Provence.

Bel appartement mais gros problème salle de bains

Nous avons été ravi de trouver ce bel appartement, bien spacieux. Cependant nous avons constaté d'emblée des problèmes liés à l'eau dans la salle de bain ; débit minimal dans le lavabo, mnque d'eau froide, pommettes de douche obstruées à 50%... Le lavabo étant surélevé et le robinet d'eau étant au fond du meuble, il nous a été compliqué de nous en servir. Nous avons signalé rapidement via mail ce souci à la propriétaire (pas de téléphone pour la joindre) qui ne nous a jamais répondu... A l'instar des autres avis, il nous a paru manqué quelques torchons et serviettes...

Détails conforme à l'annonce. Petit bémol: Pas de serviette pour essuyer la vaisselle, pas de torchon pour nettoyer la vaisselle. Il y avait un fer à repasser mais aucune planche à repasser.

Aix-en-Provence

The apartment was located in a quiet suburb of Aix-en- Provence. A bus stop was situated outside the main building with a 15 minute journey to the city center. A bakery, small supermarket and pharmacy was conveniently situated across the road. The apartment was clean and well equipped with facilities. However, the air conditioning was not cool enough for us. We enjoyed our stay in the apartment and the area very much.

Unfortunate. 2 of 3 A/C units wouldn’t turn on after back and forth with owner. Apartment was filthy. Left without spending the night to a hotel that was clean and had working air conditioner. It was 36 Celsius and very uncomfortable without. Owner didn’t feel we had grounds for any sort of compensation, even without working air conditioning and a filthy apartment. Owner didn’t show up until next day around mid day to check air conditioning, after we filed official complaint, and ignored the cleanliness all together. Boo.

Logement parfait pour passer plusieurs jours à Aix

L'appartement est particulièrement bien situé pour séjourner à Aix à 15 minutes à pieds de la Cathédrale, avec bus et accès très aisé en voiture. L'appartement au rez-de-chaussée est bien opérationnel, propre, calme et très ensoleillé. Je recommande sans restriction.

Good choice with some issues

This apartment is located on the far north side of Aix. So getting out of town and onto the highways is relatively quick. There is essential shopping right across the street. Fanny, the owner, helped us deal with imperfect interface between the French site, Abritel, and VRBO and when we arrived she replied quickly to our calls for help. The building is not visible from the street, in fact the entrance is off a different street altogether. That's a problem. Fanny provided directions and photos via e-mail to help us navigate our arrival but still it was difficult. The unit itself offers what we have come to expect: a very low, soft sofa and a few hard metal/wooden chairs. A good bed was a plus.The kitchen is a good example of style preferred over convenience. Directions are via "universal symbols" which we had a hard time deciphering. It would have been very helpful to have a binder as is often provided by VRBO owners to help renters understand what's what. I speak French, that was a plus. The owner uses an on-line translator so some of the messages on line come out a big garbled. This rental was fine for us once we got the hang of things. Be sure to come to France with an open mind...and a very good google map app.

Disappointing. Appartment was a little worn and not as well provisioned as others. Our main issues were the hot water heater which kept tripping the breaker. We needed to reset it a couple of times a day. And the cold water pressure, especially in the bathroom sink was low to a trickle.

The apartment was quaint and comfy. It is in a great location if you don't mind walking. There was a bakery and Casino (market) right across the street. There was some confusion as to which unit we were staying in ( probably needs to be clearer check in guidance). But overall it was a nice place and I would stay there again.

Brilliant apartment in a. nice area

This is one of the nicest flats we've stayed in with VRBO and I'd recommend it strongly. It's in a quiet residential area with easy access to a Casino and a bakery. It is a little way from the centre, as some other comments have pointed out, but we found this to be no problem at all - especially with three buses stopping practically outside the front door. Fanny was absolutely excellent at communication - all messages were responded to within minutes - thanks! A very good overall experience.

Appartement parfait

Emplacement idéal, avec parking, pour séjourner à Aix. Il est situé à 15 minutes à pieds de la cathédrale sur une avenue très calme et 3 minutes en voiture des autoroutes entourant Aix. Petit clin d'oeil, une épicerie et une boulangerie existent de l'autre côté de l'avenue. LA procédure d'accès repose sur le système très pratique d'une boîte à clés.

Mooi, stijlvol en comfortabel ingericht appartement

Parkeerplaats was een absolute meerwaarde! Airco in de woonkamer ook. Het is voorzien van alle comfort. Ook diepvries aanwezig. Wandelen naar het centrum neemt ongeveer 20 minuutjes in beslag. Hou er rekening mee dat je op een helling verblijft. Bakker met superverse producten, krantenwinkel en winkeltje bevinden zich aan de overkant. Huisnummer werd foutief doorgegeven. Contact ter plaatse liep zeer vlot. Zeer rustige buurt.

Apartement perfect but misleading location

The apartment corresponds to the description and pictures and was well equiped for us. New building (typically sensitive to noise, but quiet neighbours) in the north of Aix, located in a quiet side street. We had a nice, friendly handover. Pleasantly, there is a small shop and bakery opposite, as well as a bus stop. Unfortunately, what was wrong was the location near old town , which was THE decisive booking criterion for us. The apartment was well outside the area („location circle“) indicated by the provider (still well north of the Cezanne studio). Unfortunately, this led to the devaluation. If that doesn't bother you, I recommend the apartment.
