Easy, and fun focused updated 2nd floor apartment brings the local and historic vibes. 3rd floor room adds space for work, fun, or rest. Located on the free shuttle route, and steps from the Amtrak station. National forest is 1 mile away, riverside trails are nearby, with several restaurants, breweries, wineries, a distillery, and a legal marijuana dispensary all within 2 blocks! For the less adventurous the Mercantile is great for train watching, majestic views of the Continental Divide, and a lovely space to bake, get creative, or catch up on self care/play 80's video games on the cocktail arcade.

Spent 2 nights at this upstairs home in Fraser in August. It was affordable, with plenty of dishes, pots/pans utensils in the kitchen. 4 Bedrooms with 2 King beds! Would be great for large groups skiing or for summer activities in the area. It is right by the railroad where Amtrak stops. Also where the freight trains pass through. I’m a light sleeper but didn’t mind the trains bc the place was clean and spacious.

We had the absolute best stay here. The owners are absolutely adorable and you MUST check out their art studio downstairs. We will absolutely be back to see their flowers in the summer. Everything about this place is so convient and has so much charm! Much more character than the cookie cutter condos everywhere else in the area. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Unique, fun, cool place! Super convenient location to downtown, ski trails, and the train station, though that comes with some train noise. Loved playing Ms PacMan on the vintage video game. Provided ample room for our group of 8 people. Would definitely come back. And the host had great communication and was nice enough to let us check in early.

Awesome property in the perfect location

This property is fantastic all around! The pictures definitely don't do it justice - inside is very comfortable and has everything you could possibly need! The location can't be beat: 2 breweries are a block away, easy to walk around the area, and at night is super quiet. Will absolutely stay here again!

Ski weekend

This property was excellent for a ski weekend with friends. Totally unique and well appointed. Walking distance to 2 breweries and a bar/restaurant, we kept ourselves entertained ok Fraser. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Great headquarters

Location was great for getting to other activities like hiking, kayaking, visiting the local breweries and distillery and the magnificent views of the Fraser Valley. Location was not so great for the trains coming through in the middle of the night. All in all a great stay with the minor inconvenience of the train noise. Would definitely stay again.

This property has tons of potential! It’s the top floor of an early 1900’s mercantile store. It cutely decorated and the space is used well. We loved the retro gaming system! There are a couple things worth mentioning that are not noted or at least were not obvious to me. Windows are single pane and original caulking, giving a dirty feel to them. Also, be sure to check them all that they are secure. We had 2 blow wide open in the middle of the night. The property is also located next to active train tracks that run on a schedule past 12am every night. I truly hate leaving negative comments but the noise through the night was impactful and we would not have booked if we had realized as I am a very light sleeper.

Family Trip to Fraser

The property and location were great and check in/out was seamless. The house is next to a train track, but only a few came through town at night. Definitely not a dealbreaker when the property is so close to activities in town. We did not have any issue or reason to contact the property owners except to thank them for a wonderful stay! If we are ever in Fraser again we will definitely keep this property in mind.

Historic, fun, clean, comfortable, and so much character!

We enjoyed staying in this historic building. The space was comfortable, spacious, and well-stocked with everything we needed. The convenient location is close to multiple restaurants, a grocery store, and the lovely Fraser River Bike Trail. We loved listening to the train roll by, and playing the 80s arcade game was a fun treat! Our hosts were welcoming and responsive to our needs. Thank you for a wonderful stay as we explored the beauty of the Rocky Mountains.

Fantastic property!

Myself and 2 friends rented this awesome place for a ski weekend and it was perfect for us. Absolutely loved the ski theme and pac man video table. Location is fantastic - loved being able to walk to multiple options for dinner and drinks.

Wonderful property with character

We were thrilled to be the first guests in this lovely historic property! Andy and Elizabeth did a wonderful job remodeling the second floor of their historic 1904 building. We have stayed in a dozen generic mountain properties (all decorated with either a bear or moose theme - there seems to be some sort of law about this), so the Fraser Mercantile was really refreshing. It is very clean, beautifully decorated, spacious, and full of character. We hope to be back!
