Nice place and comfortable couch. It was nice having the deer come right up to the backyard. The games are missing a lot of pieces (twister did not have the board so we couldn’t play). The larger tv is in the smaller living room which we wished was in the main living room but overall it was great. The pie was a wonderful gift.

We loved staying at the Deer Bungalow. The bungalow was quite special, with a balcony all around, a good new jacuzzi, a dog run, and a lot of wild properly all around where our grandkids could roam and explore. John was a very responsive and kind host.

Exceptional. This place was perfect. Great location. All the amenities. Plenty of comfy beds. Hot tub was big and hot. We were visited by deer, turkeys, squirrels, bunnies and blue jays. Lovely lovely place. Will come again.

Had great time, very homely home felt welcomed, very clean plenary on supplies, quiet place, deer and turkeys came close to home, great host had one question and John answered immediately highly recommend this home

Gorgeous property and beautiful home! Very spacious and comfortable living areas. The backyard was beautiful and perfect for young children to explore and have fun. We loved our stay here!

It’s was clean, cozy, very roomy, it’s was like home away from home and more. We loved waiting up and having coffee and watching the wild animals come to the property to eat and drink. Fire place was really nice to have on and the hot tub was a plus. Kids had fun exploring the back yard. It was great to see the our kids be kids outdoors instead of inside the house. Will definitely recommend and we will be back soon. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience.

I came to stay with my dog and enjoy the peaceful surroundings at the home and around Julian. Everything was perfection and I can’t wait to come back! John was responsive , attentive and even had a famous apple pie waiting for us upon arrival. The home has everything you need to relax and recharge.

Our Bungalow Stay in Julian

House was very family friendly— large table for meals with views of turkeys and deer coming through the yard in the morning. FirePlace was nice to sit around in the evening to talk or watch tv.

Comfortable and Relaxing Home in the Woods

Our family greatly enjoyed our stay at this home in the woods. It was fun to watch the turkeys and the birds. The beds were very comfortable and the space was great for hanging out and enjoying our family, including our 3yo granddaughter, both inside and out. Very quiet neighborhood near town. We also thoroughly enjoyed attending the 4th of July festivities.

The hosts were so gracious- they provided such a nice welcoming atmosphere as soon as you walked in. The house is spacious, tidy and the yard is like something out of a magazine. It was the perfect way for my family to start off the summer and celebrate many accomplishments together.

Can not say enough good things about this property. Gorgeous inside and out. Lots of room and seating inside and out. Beds comfy and warm. So thankful for our stay!

Beautiful Cabin!

Second time staying here. Lovely location. Plenty of room for everyone to hang out, play games and watch TV. Dog run area is a big plus. Fishing close by at lake and easy walks around the neighborhood. Christmas treat for certain!

Spectacular Home

Lovely home in the Pine Hills area of Julian. The home is clean and has everything you need. The decor and the vibe are super inviting. The bedrooms are perfect for a large group. Highly recommend this home. Thank you, John!

This place is an introverts paradise. It is quiet and peaceful. The animals that come by and feed in the backyard is a real treat. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings and coffee in the living room with a book in the mornings. Kitchen cabinets were stocked with cookware, though a touch unorganized. There is no drinking water and the tap water is a bit rough. A nice addition would be a water dispenser. This place was clean and extremely comfortable. Ahhhhhh…

Thank you for the kind review. The tap water is perfectly safe to drink. Just have to turn on the tap and hold a cup under it!
