Breathtaking Views! This gorgeous custom log home has so much to offer! Mountain views including Mount Sherman and Mount Sheridan from the wrap-around deck as well as from the many windows in the home! Three bedrooms including a main floor master suite! Open floor-plan in kitchen, dining and family room! The family room boasts a floor to ceiling stone fireplace to keep you warm along with the radiant flooring! Upstairs has two bedrooms, a full bath and additional space in the loft which also has large windows to enjoy the views! Great space for your family and of course your dogs are welcome with an additional pet fee. Located on 2 acres. A beautiful piece of mountain paradise! 5 star reviews on other platforms.

Please note that we are at 10,300 ft altitude. Please take care of yourself and make sure you are equipped to handle this altitude. You will need 4WD to access this property for most of the fall and spring and all of the winter. Roads can periodically close in the area in the winter. Please pay close attention around your trip and plan accordingly.

This home is pet-friendly, but you must alert us if you're bringing a pet. We charge a $50 pet fee per trip. If you have allergies, you're probably better off staying at another property. We do have the best cleaning crew around, but use your best judgement.

You MUST be at least 25 years of age to book with us.

Please note, due to our extreme fire danger, the fireplace will be locked off and not accessible in the summer/early fall during our highest fire risk.

ABSOLUTELY NO FIRES ANYWHERE ON THE PROPERTY. ANY SMOKING OR OPEN FIRES WILL RESULT IN A $500 FINE!

Amazing Cabin with spectacular views

The photos are spot on-exactly as pictured and it is as wonderful as it is presented. Beautiful woodwork throughout and holds a wonderful mountain log cabin ambiance. The windows and french doors ensure you never lose the breathtaking views regardless of the weather. Incredibly and thoughtfully well appointed. This cabin is wonderful for families and enjoying time together!

Wonderful home and incredible views

Great home and property. Very nice, very clean, very quiet! The views from the wrap around deck were incredible. Saw moose from deck. Convenient to Fairplay and Breck. Hope to stay again some day!

Awesome cabin and location

We would definitely recommend this cabin. Location was exactly what we were looking for and the cabin was perfect inside and out. Danae was great to communicate with. Our fur baby loved her stay too. We certainly hope to return again. Thank you so much for sharing you pet friendly home.

Sept in Fairplay

After driving through Fairplay many times on our way to and from other locations, we decided to give a stay a try. We had a wonderful time. The location is beautiful, the property wonderful and as advertised. Our dogs didn’t want to leave (and neither did we)! Had good luck fishing at Montgomery Reservoir too. The aspens were starting to turn and will be gorgeous in another week. We are thinking about coming for a month next year to get away from the summer heat and humidity of Nebraska.

What a wonderful family stay we had at this cabin outside of FairPlay, Colorado. Firstly , the craftsmanship of the cabin was top notch. The layout is perfect for a family with all ages. The entire house was beyond immaculate. Every surface and corner was sparkling clean. I had to ask a few questions to the host and she replied quickly. In every drawer or cabinet was something else supplied to make our stay more comfortable. Highly recommend ! Thank you for opening your home to our family.

Wonderful! will be back!

The property was exactly as described. We were so grateful to be able to bring and kennel our pups. This house and the view are beautiful. We were able to relax and yet be close to so much to do. We will definitely be staying here again!

Great family cabin

We had a wonderful week here. The views are amazing and the cabin was exactly what we were looking for. It was well located for hiking, fishing, rafting and exploring the area. Highly recommend!

Great stay in Fairplay!

We stayed for 3 weeks and it was awesome. The house was beautiful and extremely clean. The owners thought of everything, the house was well-stocked with anything and everything you could need and then some. The views off the deck are absolutely breathtaking. This was a fantastic experience!

Beautiful cabin with a great view

My wife and I loved our stay at this beautiful cabin! The owners thought of everything. The kitchen was well stocked with all the needed utensils and cleaning supplies. Each bathroom had its own shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, and other toiletries. Soap and fabric softener was even provided for the washer and dryer. Firewood was plentiful. A snow shovel, large deck broom, and even a brush to clean the snow off your vehicle was provided. Overall, we highly recommend staying at this very clean, well stocked, and beautiful cabin!

Christmas Vacation in Fairplay

We had a wonderful Christmas with our family at the cabin. The host responded to our questions in a timely fashion. The linens were bright, clean, and inviting, We enjoyed the warmth of the fireplace on chilly evenings and the cabins cozy atmosphere. Perfect home away from home!

I brought my dad to this cabin as a surprise for his birthday! This cabin was exactly what I was hoping for! The most beautiful views I have seen in my life. Full view of the whole mountain range! The pictures don't do the cabin justice! The host has thought of everything one might need to make this cabin a home! The host was quick to communicate, friendly and efficient. The beds were soft and cozy. Everything was clean and well thought out. It even snowed over a foot while we were there in October making everything even more beautiful! We enjoyed our stay so much we didn't want to leave! We will be back soon!! I would recommend this cabin to everyone. I will note, the host is correct about the elevation, luckly our sickness was mild and only lasted 8 or so hours. And you definitely need a suv with 4wheel drive even at the end of October!

Beautiful View

We enjoyed our stay here very much! From the moment we arrived at this home, it was very inviting and we cannot say enough about the view! We fell in love! Not only was this home beautifully decorated but Danae was an amazing host and has this home stocked with everything you could think of or may have missed bringing. Fairplay is a charming little town and this home was conveniently located in the middle of everything we wanted to see! While weather wasn’t a factor quite yet we loved being able to drive to Independence Pass and seeing snow! This was a perfect home for us and our fur babies! We are so thankful for having a wonderful place to bring our fur babies with us and thoroughly enjoyed our time here at this home!

We Can't Wait to go Back!

We had a great experience in the cabin. Danae was very informative and was very quick to respond. We arrived in Fairplay earlier than expected (about 1.5 hours before check-in) but Danae let us head on in. The house is filled with every amenity you could need, with thoughtful little touches throughout the home. We loved our stay and will hopefully be back soon! Thank you for a great weekend away.

What can I say: We had a wonderful mini-vacation at this beautiful home just outside Fairplay, Colorado. As noted, it's a beautiful home w/a breathtaking view. Great Vacation Weekend

Welcome to our home! We are Danae and Nathan and are both Colorado natives. Our house in Fairplay is a long term dream that we have had for at least a decade! We were so lucky to have found our place and are glad to share it with others. I am a homeschool mom for our two daughters and my husband is a computer engineer. We have 5 dogs and are always grateful to have a place where we can travel with them. We are happy to provide the same convenience to other families. We have been hosting guests at our Georgetown house since 2016 and were finally able to buy this place at the end of 2020. We are excited to have another property to offer with the same level of commitment to quality as we have at our other home.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

When we saw this house we fell in love with the views. Also, on 2 acres we feel the peacefulness of being away from our busy life. But being only 2 miles to town, we are also close to restaurants and the grocery store so we have easy access to some of the conveniences we are used to. The inside of the house is so inviting and comfortable. We love just being with the family and watching the snowstorms or sunsets from inside. Comfy beds and great conversation in a fully stocked kitchen makes this our home away from home.
