We enjoyed our recent stay and would recommend to anyone looking for a bed and breakfast type getaway in beautiful Clark. Olympia is great host and her granola and freshly baked bread are delish.

Beautiful views, quintessential location.

Great location and gracious host. The hot tub was not functioning however and some outlets were nonfunctional. Overall good place to stay and enjoy the area.

Thanksgiving Getaway

Peace and quiet are what we wanted and this place had it all! The views of Hahn’s Peak, amazing stargazing, closeness to hiking trails, and downtown Steamboat were perfect. Olympia’s granola and baked bread were super good! We’d definitely return!!!

Dog friendly mountain getaway

Beautiful ranch nestled away in the mountains north of Steamboat. Wonderful hosts who made us feel at home with our family and dog. They helped with suggestions on things to do and see in the area. Our dog had the time of her life running around the large property and playing with their dog.

Woof ranch is Wooftastic!

Olympia is a wonderful host and we will certainly be back again. The drive to the property is filled with amazingly beautiful rolling ranchlands. The house is quiet and has amazing views. Olympia's granola and fresh bread in the morning is just icing on the cake!

Everything you ever needed!

What a great little place. The room, bathroom, and living quarters had everything we could need. Our host was around and attentive to all of our needs, and was very friendly and helpful. We will def. Stay here again our next time out here!

Our Stay at The Woof Ranch

If you are looking for an out of the way, peaceful, and relaxing place with gorgeous views, this is it! Olympia, our host, was attentive to our every need. She even made freshly ground, French press decaf coffee for my husband. We thoughly enjoyed our stay.

Private Dreamy Location with Great Mountains View

My wife and I celebrated our 35 Wedding Anniversary at the Woof Ranch. The host, Olympia, was great and very helpful directing us the best hiking trails, best scenery to drive, and places to eat while in Clark. Her daily homemade granola and homemade bread was welcomed and delicious every morning. If you are looking to stay somewhere quiet with great mountain views, with a wonderful host then Woof Ranch is your place to go. Much Appreciation Olympia, J&J Brown

Just what we we're looking for

Olympia's place was super cool, just far enough outside to get away and close enough to pop into town if you needed. Her house felt relaxing and peaceful right away. It was a warm experience and she was always considerate of the small things that make homes-haring so great. Would stay again.

New Years Weekend Getaway

Pros: Host wasn’t available to greet us, but we ended up having the place to ourselves and enjoyed the privacy and quiet Beautiful area of Northern Colorado Great out-of-the way location Dog friendly Homemade bread (didn’t try the granola) Close to parks and winter activities WiFi and password availability Ceiling fan in the bedroom Lots of storage space in the closet and the bathroom shelves Despite the restrictive check-in/check-out times, the host was flexible and let us arrive early Cons: It snowed the night we arrived and into the next day. We didn’t realize the property had arrangements for snow removal, so in the morning we began hand shoveling as long as we could. We had to wait until plows cleared the driveway to make a Saturday morning trip to Steamboat Springs for a work-related appointment. Accommodations for meals in the area were minimal, and we mostly relied on the Clark Store for food items. Apparently, the Hahn’s Peak Café wasn’t open, and the Hahn’s Peak Roadhouse recently changed owners and wasn’t set up as a restaurant yet, so they weren’t serving meals. Glen Eden Restaurant was closed. Not sure if these closures were due to business operations, lack of staff or the weather. (It would have been nice to know this before we arrived) The web site, as well as the welcome card you left us, references “The Woof Ranch Bed & Breakfast.” A B&B generally offers a continental breakfast (i.e., light pastries, fruits, yogurt and granola bars) or a breakfast menu (i.e., warm meats, eggs and pancakes/toast) in addition to coffee, tea and even juices. This differs from the baked bread, jams and candy dish provided during our stay. The web site lists a microwave as one of the kitchen/dining amenities, a microwave would have been a much better amenity since there where no restuarants open for dinner meals. It was difficult to prepare food and sit down to a meal in either room due to a lack of surface space for doing so. The lack of a sink or running water, besides the bathroom sink, make it inconvenient to clean used dishes, drinkware and utensils. Lastly, an extra garbage bag would have come in handy. An available roll of paper towels would be a great addition and would have come in handy during our stay. The futon in the open area was uncomfortable and required extra layers, including a sleeping bag and thick blanket, to help soften the surface. Also, it was disruptive to listen to the minifridge kicking

Quiet & Peaceful

We loved staying there. The place is outside of Steamboat about 20 miles and it was perfect. Great views and great hiking trails for us and our dog. Cozy & Clean !!!

Beautiful place!

In a heartbeat we would live here! Close to Hahn’s peak and reservoir, horseback riding and just 20 gorgeous minutes from Stesmboat. We never got tired of the drive and loved the isolated location. Our dog enjoyed the open fields and walks on the road. We enjoyed the Yampa River bike path 3 days and went on an incredible 2- hour trail ride at Dels 3 triangle horse ranch. Olympia was very sweet and made us delicious bread one morning and granola ( which was so good with my plain yogert!) we highly recommend this place for 2. Could use a TV, especially my husband but I always hove a book so I was fine. Wifi was amazing!

Beautiful place to stay

Had a wonderful long weekend staying at Woof Ranch with my dog. The rooms are as described - clean, spacious and have an amazing view. My dog loved running around the property and it was located close to hiking trails and restaurants. We stayed during the peak time for the aspens to change and it was gorgeous.. Olympia was friendly and helpful and her homemade bread and granola were delicious. I highly recommend Woof Ranch and would definitely stay again.

Quiet retreat

Homemade bread on the patio two mornings was awesome with the cattle mooing and beautiful views of the mountains. Well away from town so very quiet and peaceful. A great stay.

Beautiful location

Awesome location just outside of Clark, and very close to Steamboat Lake and Pearl Lake State Parks. The stay was excellent, extremely clean and well taken care of, with all of the promised amenities. Olympia was super friendly and able to provide in depth knowledge of the area. Would definitely stay again.
