Cozy cottage on our private lake and 75 wooded acres.
Experience hobby farm life on the Cumberland Mountains of Tennessee! Enjoy waking up in our 650sq ft, open floor plan cottage with a wood burning flame view stove, on our homestead with a large private Mountain Lake and 77 wooded acres to hike and enjoy! We have seasonal flowers such as daffodils, peonies, lavender, dahlias and more. We also have on the farm a variety of Farm Animals (chickens, turkeys, peacocks, geese, horses, dogs, cats and 1 pig) and (visiting wildlife) that love interacting with visitors. We consider our place a nature oasis of sorts, in contrast to some portions of the region,
Our private lake is available for catch and release fishing, swimming, canoeing and kayaking. There is a propane grill for your use.
Other nearby sites include historic Chattanooga, Tennessee Aquarium, beautiful Rock City Gardens and Ruby Falls attractions along with several local state parks with waterfalls at Fall Creek Falls , Savage Gulf and Rock Island State Parks for further Tennessee exploration. Please be aware that security cameras do monitor the adjacent exterior perimeter of the cabin.
Our private lake is available for catch and release fishing, swimming, canoeing and kayaking. There is a propane grill for your use.
Other nearby sites include historic Chattanooga, Tennessee Aquarium, beautiful Rock City Gardens and Ruby Falls attractions along with several local state parks with waterfalls at Fall Creek Falls , Savage Gulf and Rock Island State Parks for further Tennessee exploration. Cottage was a perfect place to get away from it all. Serene and peaceful. We spent most of our time hiking the many waterfall trails at the state parks in the area. Would definitely stay here again.

This was the perfect getaway. It was quiet, you can actually see the stars, the pond was a lovely companion in the mornings, and if you’re lucky you can catch the farm dogs before they start their work and give them lots of love!

The cabin was clean and cozy! We loved the view of the pond from the front porch and meeting there dogs! Kim was very good when I communicated with her and Joel was so friendly when we met. It was a calm and restful visit.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The cabin was cozy and inviting. It was furnished with everything I needed. I loved sitting on the front porch and rocking while I read. All the animals were fun to watch and the dogs were so friendly. The lake is absolutely beautiful! I would highly recommend this lovely place.

Sweet cabin on farm/lake!
Loved the peaceful lacation, the beautiful lake right outside the door....and the fireflies at night! Very relaxing!!

Overall an Exceptional Destination
My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. We were beyond pleased with this location. The lake was beautiful and the cabin was cozy. Overall, this place made a perfect honeymoon destination!
