It has 1 full kitchen upstairs and 1 downstairs. Come experience sunrises over the ocean and sunsets over the sound on the wrap around deck and spacious front porch. Relax in the NEW 8 person 2023Hot tub or soak in the stock tank pool.

OBX Family Vacation

We really enjoyed our stay. The accommodations were nice and clean, and the outer banks was a wonderful vacation spot. I would definitely recommend this location for a family vacation.

We really enjoyed being able to walk to the beach. The property had upstairs and downstairs living and kitchen areas, which worked out great for bringing our teenage kids. We were close to everything.

Family Vacation

We stayed here for a week with our young adult children. We enjoyed sitting on the porch, soaking in the hot tub and relaxing in the pool. The house’s location is perfect. Two blocks to the beach and a short drive to the grocery store and lots of restaurants. It also felt central to all of our sightseeing and vacation activities.

The overall house was fine but the A/C unit never cooled down past 73! Sleeping was uncomfortable needless to say for everyone! But the property manager did send a A/C specialist, the bottom line was determined the unit just couldn’t keep up with the daily heat. The downstairs back doors didn’t deadbolt and the front door lock was broken. The basement shower wouldn’t drain at all. The house was good from afar but far from a good.

Well equipped!

Loved this place. It had everything we needed and more! We walked to the beach and had plenty of room inside the house. The hot tub was amazing!

Great house, great owner

The house was just as described, clean, updated, and in great shape. We enjoyed the easy access to the beach, just across the beach road. The owner was very kind and considerate, and you can tell he cares about the property and the tenants who rent it from him. Highly recommended!

Memorial Weekend

The best location! Easy walk to the beach. Great recommendations from Ed about restaurants. The weather as not the best but Ed let us check out at 3pm instead of 10am so we did manage to get a morning at the beach, which was greatly appreciated. An awesome weekend was had by all.

Great Place!

This was a cute cottage with great amenities. K-cups were provided for the Keurig, there were bikes for use, and a hot tub and pool! We had our 2 year old with us and a high chair, baby gate, and pack and play were all in the cottage. Ed was great!

Super responsive Host

This was a charming property and overall quiet. My wife, daughter and her friend really enjoyed themselves for a girls weekend. Ed is great and very very responsive to questions & needs. We had a couple minor items when we checked in and he was on it right away.

Well stocked and comfortable

Our family of 6 truly enjoyed our stay. Even though it was rainy, our 4 kids (ages 5 months to 6 years) enjoyed the well stocked game cupboard and coloring books! The location was perfect, walking distance to the beach, and easy drive to the Wright Brothers Memorial. There was some dog hair in the rug in the family room, but we didn't mind. It would be a difficult rug to deep clean. Great stay, overall.

Close to everything

We had a great stay at Macon Waves! The location couldn't be beat for an active family like ours. We had easy access to all of our activities, the beach was a short walk away, and Publix was a quick drive. There are tons of nearby restaurants when you don't feel like cooking. The house and yard are relaxing, with a stock tank pool, hot tub, and hammocks. The owner was very responsive when we had questions. Highly recommend!

Beach getaway

The home is beautifully decorated and very clean. It had everything we needed, and also fun extras like hot tub, dipping pool, paddle board, beach chairs, and family games. We never tried the bikes because we forgot our bike helmets, but that’s ok. The easy walk to the beach was safe at the pedestrian crossing, and we enjoyed going at sunrise and sunset to watch the waves. Thank you for the perfect getaway, Ed!
