Beautiful original flat top cottage brings back the vintage feel with all of the updates and modern amenities you are looking for in a vacation cottage. Direct beach access on our street, 2 minutes away at the Avalon Pier. This super cute 3 bedroom 1 bath cottage has been lovingly renovated from top to bottom and is deep cleaned between each guest. Cleanest, cutest cottage on the beach. Great location close to everything. You will love the feel of this original Nags Head cottage perfect for the smaller group. 2 minute walk to the beach and the Avalon Pier. Bring the pets and make it a summer to remember!

Cute place, beachy feel, great being only a two minute walk to the beach, and the sound only a one minute drive the opposite way. Plenty of really good restaurants close by. Great host contact throughout our stay

super close to the beach, which was great (like a three minute walk)! if you're traveling with pets, just note that dogs are not allowed on the beach between 10am-6pm in the summer. the host at this property told us this rule is not usually enforced, but we were approached within 10 minutes of arriving at the beach and asked to leave. not the host's fault, I just wish we had realized this earlier. House was comfortable and we enjoyed the outdoor shower. it would have been nice to have another bathroom (especially one not connected to the bedroom). we had four people and it got a bit busy in the bathroom. there were various beach items provided. I would recommend overall and would consider booking again.

The “Flamingo” is a great, cozy home just a block from the beach and Avalon pier! Immaculate and fun; highly recommend!!

Nice and peaceful

2nd time staying here. Quiet neighborhood and short walk to the ocean. Very well stocked with everyday items. Easy check in and out. Would recommend!

A Must-Stay Perfect OBX Beach Rental

This was the best OBX beach rental my husband and I have ever stayed in. It exceeded all of our expectations in cleanliness, welcoming atmosphere, perfect location, and everything in between. Will absolutely book here any time we want to stay in OBX.

Thanksgiving week vacation

We had a excellent time and stay at the house and area. Beach access is close and the area nice. House fit our needs perfectly for 2 adults and our small dog.

Family getaway

Cute rancher that was perfect for our family getaway, Plus, pet friendly for the win! . Location was perfect, with a short walk to the beach. We will definitely use this property in the future

The Funky Flamingo was a great place to stay. Great location and kitchen was furnished to prepare meals. Instructions were easy to follow Communication with the owner was great also. She was quick to respond. We hope to be able to stay again in the future.

This property was perfect for my family. It is in the perfect location for spending time at the beach and making memories, and keeping us cool at night during this heat wave! Everything we needed was available. We are thinking of making this a yearly trip, and my kids won't want to stay anywhere other than this "flamingo house!"

Great location

The property was a great location and it was perfect for our visit. We were able to watch fireworks from the driveway instead of dealing with the very busy beach. It was close to restaurants and shopping and two minute walk to the beach.

Great stay

House is in a great location. Our stay was wonderful. Property owner was responsive and helpful. The only thing I would change is an update to the outdoor shower area so there is privacy and warm water.

Excellent Stay

The home was very clean and well kept. It was nice to have a short walk to the beach since we have two small children. The owners of the home were very nice and attentive.

Great location

We had a wonderful time at the beach. The location of the property made it very convenient to get everywhere we wanted to go. It took two minutes to walk to the beach. The house was well maintained and perfect for us. Would definitely stay again.

Great Location!

Very clean well kept small cottage, great for couples. Locatiln is a short walk to the beach. Very comfortable. Will be back!
