Indulge yourself! Rustic elegance in the heart of Arizona's White Mountains awaits you at Acorn Lodge. Experience quiet seclusion and incredible luxury on 1+ acre nestled amid towering Ponderosa pines. Acorn Lodge has tremendous views of the White Mountains from the loft area on the second floor.

Walk to the fabulous Greer Lakes renowned for trophy trout fishing. You'll find immediate access to hiking, mountain biking, bird or wildlife watching, and skiing as well.The cabin is secluded, yet only a mile to downtown Greer and historic dining establishments. Sunrise Ski Park is approximately 16 miles from Acorn Lodge.

The nearby communities of Springerville, Eagar, Pinetop-Lakeside, and Show Low offer many restaurant and shopping options as well as hiking, biking, festivals, and other events. If you prefer, relax and enjoy the wildlife viewing from Acorn's massive wrap around deck—elk, antelope, deer, fox and various birds are just a few of what have been spotted on the property.

After a fun day of adventure enjoy a soak in the hot tub while others enjoy the fire pit or play a game of horseshoes.

Acorn Lodge amenities include luxuries you won't find in the average rental cabin. Professionally decorated to the highest level with furniture from Broyhill™; all sheets are Egyptian cotton with thread counts of 500 or higher, top of the line mattresses, and towels are luxurious Turkish cotton. The master bedroom with king-sized bed is located on the main level. Specialty kitchen appliances include: Keurig-duo, food processor, and blender.

In the ground-level great room, our massive Malpaís stone fireplace with its Arizona agave wood mantle and views of the forests will lure you into curling up with a good book! Upstairs are an additional two bedrooms, each with a queen-sized bed and a terrific loft entertainment area includes a 70 inch smart TV, and sleeper sofa.

Quiet cabin in the woods

We enjoyed our stay! The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. We loved the fireplace and the hot tub. It was cozy! Loved the pine ceilings, too. We would recommend this place to others.

Acorn Lodge

This was our 2nd time at Acorn Lodge and our stay was excellent again. The cabin is well equipped and the owners (Laura & Doug) have added some unique touches such as the phone chargers next to every bed. The Christmas tree and all the lights and decorations make it a special stay during the holidays. Overall this property is highly recommended and we will definitely be back !!

Best Property in Greer

This was our second time staying at Acorn Lodge and it is truly the best property in Greer. Very well stocked with cooking supplies and everything you need away from home. Laura and Doug are very responsive and quick to answer any questions. Perfect for a dog as well as the patio is fully enclosed. Highly recommend staying here on your next visit to Greer, we will definitely be back again!

Greer getaway

Everything was great! However, there wasn't a TV in the downstairs living room, and the World Series was on, which was a bit unfortunate. I didn’t really enjoy cooking and hanging out downstairs without a TV, but it's not a major issue in the grand scheme of things.

Fabulous trip

My wife and I travel frequently and this is probably one of if not the best home we have ever rented attention to detail is unbelievable. It is warm and comfortable class act not to mention we experienced the first snowstorm of the season with the changing of the leaves and the snow coming down, it will be an unforgettable trip.

Peaceful home in the pines

My Husband and I stayed two nights in this beautiful home. It has everything you need as your home away from home, or as a base camp for all the great outdoor things to do in the area. The hot tub and the fireplace were a bonus. This would be a great home to have extended family join as there is plenty of room. It is just a few minutes from the town of Greer. We didn't want to leave and look forward to coming back again. Maybe this winter to do some skiing at Sunrise Park.

Magnificent!!!

Absolutely loved the stay at the Acorn Lodge. Owners were a joy to work with. The property is super clean and has everything provided you will need to never leave the house if you don’t want to. The hot tub was perfect for the end of a great day exploring the wonderful little town of Greer. One of my favorite Vrbo houses of all time. Definitely coming back to this property.

Fantastic mountain getaway

This cabin is hands down the nicest we have ever rented. Beautiful furnishings and decorated perfectly for the area. All the comforts of home, kitchen is well stocked, the seating areas are great for family game night or enjoying a football game upstairs. The hot tub was the icing on the cake, perfect for after a long day of exploring! We will definitely rent here again!

Getaway in the Pines

We have stayed in Greer many times and this is a property that we will be returning to. The communication with the host is impeccable and everything was seamless from check in to check out. The house felt like home. It was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. We can't wait to come and stay here again and again.

Great place for getaway

Memorial Weekend Getaway

My husband and I have been to Greer many times and decided to visit again as we were celebrating our 31st anniversary. We brought our adult boys for a quiet family getaway. Acorn Lodge exceeded our expectations! Laura and Doug were the perfect hosts and communication was great. The Lodge was perfectly located, beautifully decorated and had plenty of amenities. We enjoyed gazing at the stars from the hot tub and playing games as well as enjoying nearby hikes and restaurants. We would definitely visit again!

Very nice.

It was nice and clean. There was a washer and dryer so we could do our laundry before we packed. Nice green TV upstairs. Nice hot tub, but the Jets were not all functioning correctly.

Acorn lodge was amazing

After our stay there i was reluctant on reviewing because i wanted to keep it secret because laura and dougs lodge was so amazing. Its far and few i feel this way about but it was like it was my family's dream home for a short time. I truly love what they have done and plan on coming back. If they would have us. Also their response on any questions or needs was superb. Thank you for sharing and being so thoughtful.

Even better than advertised

I've been visiting Greer since I was a kid in the 70s with my parents, and have continued the tradition with my wife and our kids (who are now young adults). We've probably rented 25+ different cabins over the years, and I can say this is absolutely the nicest we've ever had. This gem exceeded our expectations in every way, right down to the smallest of unexpected conveniences. Many rentals in Greer do not have basic features like a dishwasher, washer/dryer, garbage disposer, dressers for clothes, TVs, minimal interior decor, etc. Acorn Lodge has all of that, plus a wonderfully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, plenty of clean linens and towels, and it's beautifully decorated. The jacuzzi worked flawlessly, and they even had Apple phone chargers in each of the bedrooms. We always wonder what kind of coffee machines will be available, but Acorn has a dual purpose supporting both Keurig and ground. Just little pleasant surprises like that are all over this cabin. And it's a short drive to downtown Greer, and right around the corner from the Lazy Trout general store. A lot of thought went into making this rental very special. We loved it and will be back.
