We had the best time staying at Scout’s House! Communication with Shay was excellent, and the home itself is beautiful. Plenty of space for everyone inside and out, with everything you could need already stocked and available. We will be back!

Such a great property. Cozy but spacious, well furnished, and beautifully decorated. Location is perfect, right where you want to be in Greer to enjoy all it has to offer. Didn’t want to leave.

We have been coming to Greer for close to 48 years…we love it here. Scout’s House is by far the favorite place we’ve stayed the house was perfect, well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, spices and a great coffee bar! It was clean and very well maintained. Shay was the perfect host, quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. We had 6 adults, 3 small kids and 1 dog, plenty of room for everyone and we appreciated the location and fencing so the kids and dog could roam freely. We will be back…thanks again Shay for sharing Scout’s House!

I can't say enough about our stay and this cabin! The renovated space is beautiful but the details and sweet touches made it extra special! Celebrating time with our mom while we can, making memories and being able to include our pups was a dream. The owner is very responsive in any issues that came up, but the house is already so thought out, pthere’s not much of a need for anything at all.

Scout's Cabin was wonderful. It was very comfortable and they seemed to think of every detail. Communication with the owners was fantastic. They were always quick to reply to our questions.

My husband and I were traveling with our adult daughter, son-in-law and their pup. The cabin was truly welcoming and set up for pup family members. The two acre property provided seclusion and perfect location to access the hiking trails of Mount Baldy. The kitchen is fully equipped for creating meals at the cabin. And there are also several nearby restaurants. The bedroom and bathroom accommodations exceeded our expectations. Shay was very responsive to all of our needs and questions. We would love to return to stay at Scout’s house for future trips to the White Mountains.

The cabin was great. We loved the floor plan and decor. Walking distance to town. Nice accommodations for a dog which is appreciated. We had a herd of elk come nearby each morning and evening which we loved. We look forward to a return trip.

We had a wonderful stay and we all give this property five stars. The home was really beautiful, even better in person, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed with high-quality and comfortable furniture. There was plenty of space for us and for our things, and we especially appreciated the good-sized bedrooms and comfortable living areas. We didn't even find the washer/dryer until the last day, but for a longer outdoorsy trip in the area that would be essential.The kitchen was well equipped and worked really well for us, and the bathrooms were clean and functional. We also loved some of the thoughtful touches throughout the house, especially the books and games, and we really enjoyed using the outdoor fireplace. We saw elk regularly come by around dinnertime.Communication was excellent. The person we worked with was very easy to reach whenever we had a question or concern and was helpful throughout our stay.Our only minor issue was that the beds were too soft for our preference, which was agreed upon by everyone in our group. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend the property. We would definitely come back.

We had a great stay. The hosts were very nice and incredibly thoughtful with everything they provided in the cabin. It was fully stocked with quality supplies and had everything we needed. The place was clean, the property was outstanding, and it was very dog-friendly and family-friendly—including for infants and kids. It was truly better than advertised. We definitely plan to come back and highly recommend this place.

Wonderful Stay at Scouts House in GreerWe had such a wonderful stay at Scouts House in Greer, Arizona! We were a group of five adults, and the cabin was absolutely perfect for our getaway. From the moment we arrived, we felt comfortable and at home.The cabin is cozy, inviting, and very spacious, with plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax. The beds were incredibly comfortable, which made it easy to get a great night’s sleep after enjoying our days in beautiful Greer. We also really appreciated having three full bathrooms. Traveling with five adults, that convenience made a big difference and was something we especially loved!The property itself is beautiful and peaceful, and the location gave us the perfect opportunity to enjoy the beauty and quiet of Greer. It was exactly the kind of place we were hoping for—a comfortable cabin where we could slow down, spend time together, and enjoy the surroundings.Our host was wonderful as well. They were very quick to respond whenever we had a question and extremely accommodating throughout our stay. That kind of communication and hospitality really makes a vacation rental stand out.We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Scouts House exceeded our expectations, and we will definitely be coming back as often as we can! We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, comfortable, and relaxing place to stay in Greer. We can’t wait for our next visit!

This property was a gem in Greer hosted by the most accommodating owners. The photos were as we expected of the cabin (not always the case) and the setting was divine. We pulled up to a herd of elk who greeted us (no joke). It is pet friendly, roomy, exceptionally clean, kitchen stocked and super comfortable. Wood was provided to enjoy the fireplace too! Our dogs especially enjoyed roaming around the large property and hanging out on the lovely porch. We highly recommend staying here and enjoying it's amenities both inside and out.

Our experience at Scouts House in Greer was absolutely fantastic! This home is beautiful and a perfect mix of the surroundings with 5 star amenities. The home was very clean and smelled great as well. The host was just as fabulous. So friendly and responsive. This home is comfortable and cozy. Having 3 full bathrooms with showers open floor plan and large front porch made it perfect for our family to hang out. We will definitely be back!

The host is very prompt with responses, helpful and friendly. This place is even better than you see in the pictures. The kitchen is awesome and has top end appliances and kitchenware. We did not bring a dog, but the cabin is definitely dog friendly and so clean you wouldn't know if a previous renter had dog(s) stay with them. Will definitely rent this place again next year.

This is a beautiful property with a wonderful host. Her communication and instructions were very clear and checking in and out was a breeze. The location was perfect with a quick walk to Main Street and a perfect easy hike close by called Government Trail Head which both our children and dogs loved. Greer is an amazing little town, and we did a quick day outing to Sunrise to enjoy the coaster and zip line. We will definitely stay here again when returning to Greer.

Our stay at Scout’s house was wonderful!The house itself is beautiful and very comfortable. We loved that each of the three couples had their own room and bathroom. The location is serene, with pine and aspen trees surrounding and we had daily views of elk nearby. Our hosts were very friendly and quick to reply to our questions. They had a well-stocked kitchen ( lots of great spices) with a nice coffee bar filled with coffee pods, tea, and a drip coffee pot as well. There was also a wine fridge! Our dog was in heaven with a 2 acres to fetch balls and the hosts had extra dog bowls, and poop bags. I’ve stayed at many VRBO’s and similar, but this one stands out in terms of amenities, location, friendly, helpful hosts, and the bonus was how well they furnished and decorated the cabin. We were all impressed and can’t wait to come back!
