Honestly, the place is kind of a wreck. Spider webs, dust, and weathered materials everywhere. Several guests got bug bites sleeping indoors, probably from the spiders. But the biggest issue was with the gazebo. We were told it was okay to utilize as part of our stay. My 62 year old father fell through on of the boards walking across it, hurting his knee and cutting his arm. The property owners knew they had rot since the owner fell through a different plank on our walkthrough a few months prior, which he promised was going to be taken care of because “there were a few other boards they needed to replace.
When I reached out to Eric the owner about the incident his response was essentially “we have no idea what you’re talking about, things happen, we can’t keep track of who’s used our gazebo before.” Frankly, I think this is negligence from the owner. It is 100% their responsibility to keep tabs on their property, notice degradation, make repairs, and keep their guests safe.
