Nice and Clean House-Good Place to Stay

We enjoyed our stay. The listing was spot on and the house was comfortable. We enjoyed the downtown area and grocery store was close by. Would stay there again.

Lovely annual getaway

We always love staying at this property. We appreciate the lake, the small town, the easy drives to hikes, fun restaurants and shopping and the banana bread provided by the owners! It is clean, comfortable (really the living room is the most comfortable we've encountered in our many years of VRBO rentals), and always fun.

Pleasant stay

We had an enjoyable stay. Everything was as described, it was very clean, and owner easy to communicate with. We also liked the location of the house and the backyard. The banana bread was a special treat upon arrival.

Perfect spot for our weekend getaway to watch our friend coach football at Olivet Nazarene. The house was fantastic and clean as a whistle. Big bonus that Oktoberfest was going on at the time just a few blocks away from the house. We enjoyed an evening there. We really liked being right on the lake and the fire pit out by the water was put to good use!

Cute Little Home!

We had a great time at Annette's place! Probably one of the best rentals we have ever stayed in. It was super clean, the location was great, the property itself was just spectacular. Annette is a great host and we would love to return!

Father's Day on the Lake

The property was great, the grandkids love being able to catch a few fish right out back. It had everything we needed, very clean and Annette was great!

Beautiful home on lake front

The home was beautiful and the owners thought of everything needed for a visit. Our granddaughters loved going to the beach during the day and fishing in the morning and evening right outside the house, we caught fish and we made s’mores on the campfire, we didn’t want to leave this beautiful place.

Once again this property didn't disappoint! It was a great few days full of relaxation with the family. Every year we visit Manteno and always know where we want to stay. The best part was the fresh homemade banana bread!!!

Our ENERGETIC son LOVED a place to unwind (fish, paddle boat, look for frogs...) after sitting at older sister's graduation.
