The Fragile Suite at Tremont Guesthouse features touches in homage to the classic “A Christmas Story”, with room for four guests to relax and enjoy their stay in Cleveland’s destination neighborhood. This 2BR, full bath w/living room & kitchenette suite is a second floor walk-up with individual, guest-controlled HVAC system with a new filter installed for each guest stay. You'll also enjoy a private entrance and a seasonal balcony overlooking the lush garden and industrial valley.

We stayed here a couple years ago and decided to stay again when returning to town. Great location that’s convenient to walk to lots of good restaurants, bars, coffee shops, etc. or a short drive into downtown. We went to a concert at Rocket Arena and it was a quick drive back to the place. The place itself is homey and comfortable and the hosts are friendly and welcoming and happy to offer recommendations for places to visit in town. There’s a parking space out back. Towels, shampoo/conditioner and body wash provided. Would stay here again.

Tammy & Frank have created such a lovely and comfortable space at The Guest House. The Fragile Suite was perfect for our short stay. The beds were comfortable and the living space was cozy when we took a break from sightseeing. I also really appreciated the quality of towels and bedding in thr suite, very nice touches to ensure a great visit. We especially enjoyed the deck off of the main bedroom for a great view of the beautiful garden. Having the private parking in the rear of the house was incredibly valuable. Being so close to everything made it easy to walk and explore Tremont, or hop in a quick ride share to go downtown into the city. Tammy was incredible friendly and kind and offered up lots of recommendations for our visit. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat and wholeheartedly recommend to others.

Cozy, clean, very welcoming. Pet-friendly and extra welcoming. Wonderful location and great parking available. Very safe and the hosts are excellent communicators and available if needed. Appreciated the extra touches that made the stay feel special.

Everything was wonderful. Quirky decor, but stay was comfortable. Only suggestion would be changing out shower liner. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Great Area

Great little place in a wonderful area. Can walk to many restaurants, bars and The Christmas Story house. As well as the Cleveland sign and several churches. Wonderful place to stay.

Quaint Neighborhood

We enjoyed our stay. It is a unique little place and it was fun to walk to get coffee in the morning and walk around the nearby park.

Great property, great hosts

The building is very clean, private parking, and in a vibrant neighborhood. Frank and Tammy make sure you’re comfortable and provide great instructions for places to visit within walking distance. My wife and I will definitely book again!

Cozy spot in a cute neighborhood!

Comfy spot conveniently located within walking distance of many options for food. We walked for coffee and dinner each day of our stay. Only 30 minutes from Cuyahoga National Valley!

Cute VRBO in Tremont. Lots of fun references to A Christmas Story. Tammy was very easy to communicate with and gave clear & easy check-in/out instructions. Kitchen was well stocked with cups, plates etc. Conveniently located and the private parking space was an extra added bonus.

Great spot

Tremont is a wonderful neighborhood. Our space was convenient to everything and we walked to several places. I would stay there again for sure!

Tremont Guesthouse is a century home in the Tremont neighborhood of Cleveland. Originally built in 1910, additions were made in 1927 and the mid 1940s. Our suites reflect the history of the neighborhood and the classic architecture of the original build.

The storefront property has been a butcher and grocer, as well as an art gallery over the last 100+ years. We have restored and updated guest areas for modern comfort while retaining the charm and iconic nature of this neighborhood property.
