FL Staycation

We're FL residents who traveled a short distance to celebrate birthdays with this beach getaway - great location and the property was as advertised. Had a blast - plan to return.

This condo was a perfect fit for our family of four (two adults, two kids), plus our dog. Ocean Villas is very family and dog friendly. The condo itself was very clean, and had great amenities as shown in the listing. The upstairs and downstairs layout was nice, each with a balcony that provided views of the ocean. Easy walking distance to the beach access (past the unheated pool), as well as easy walking distance to the separate heated pool. There are two charcoal grills for guests to use as well (located near beach access. Great communication with host to answer questions before the trip as well. Down the road from Publix and near a fun mini-golf course. Also, short drive into beautiful Saint Augustine. Overall, a great stay for our family!

Amazing stay!!!

My family and I loved this property! It is in a great location with easy access to the beach! The pools were amazing and we got to meet lots of great families! 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Nice townhome; great location

Nice, comfortable, and well-decorated townhome just steps from the beach. Two patios with ocean views and a quick walk to the zero-entry pool made for a very nice stay.

Amazing location/beautiful condo/super clean

Such a cute place with an amazing view of the pool and beach. Kitchen was very light on supplies but overall very nice! Perfect place for a family.

Second AMAZING Stay

We had another great time in this condo. We also had a great 3rd summer vacation at Ocean Villas! Can’t wait to book for next year! Clean, nicely decorated, intentional items for use throughout condo. Beds are amazing as well!

Beach vacay

The place meet our needs overall, it was nice to have our dogs with us. Loved the ocean view and overall decor of the condo. I did have to wash a blanket I pulled out of a closet immediately as it smelled of dog pee, the dishwasher didn’t clean the dishes so I hand washed them, and I had to buy a few things to make what we wanted in the kitchen…but overall I would rent again.

Great vacation

The property was great. It was a good location that is within 15 mins to historic St. Augustine. The pools were great and it had plenty of walking area for my dogs. The only reason im giving 4 stars is because of cleanliness. The unit was not cleaned well. The husband vacuumed when we got there and found a ton of stuff undernthe couch and the balcony smelled like pee. It needs a deep clean but was great otherwise

Nice stay

Everything was great except needed instructions for TV. Had to call office. Also, we did not know entrance was on 2nd floor so had a hard time finding in the dark when we arrived. Also in listing should have said it was on second level because of all the stairs.

Nice place with just a few problems

I wouldn’t suggest anyone with health problems stay here. Stairs are steep and didn’t realize that when we booked this condo. A lot of workers around making a lot of noise with renovations. No peace and quiet. Lots of roaches in and around the kitchen area

Cindy, Thank you for taking the time to review the condo. Yes, the complex has renovations currently underway and guests are notified by email. Sorry they were noisy during your stay. The unit is under a professional pest control contract and we are happy to send the vender anytime someone has an issue. We have contacted the pest control company and they are checking and treating the property again today.

Definitely Disgusted & Disappointed

Oh my where do I even start… We got to the property and the code wouldn’t work but that was resolved rather quickly. No outside lights so my husband fell down the stairs and into the bushes because he couldn’t see. Roaches crawling all over the kitchen and roach eggs on the rug and in the drawer. My pillow cases had someone else’s hair all over them and no wash cloths in the room. I felt disgusted and like I wasted my money and had no choice but to stay or lose my full payment. These issues were reported on my second day there and the lady at the realty company acted like it was no big deal and just said if I had any more issues to feel free to give them a call.

Crystal, We are so sorry to hear of these issues that you encountered during your stay. I do remember letting you know ahead of time that the lock may be an issue since they are timed for arrival and we granted an early check-in. I'm so glad that our agent was able to remedy that so quickly for you though! As for the exterior lights, Ocean Villas condo association handles the maintenance of those, and they were remedied the day after you reported it. Ocean Villa's condo association also handles the quarterly interior pest control for all of those units, so they have been informed and they are doing a more intensive spray to counteract the situation. We certainly want to make sure that that is completely taken care of, asap! We are always more than happy to send a cleaner back for any issues related to cleanliness, and we keep a back stock of towels and washcloths that we can always drop off to guests if requested. Despite these items that you've mentioned, we hope that you were able to thoroughly enjoy the rest of your stay here in St. Augustine beach!

Ocean Villa 9 was a beautiful upgrade that my family truly enjoyed from the moment we got there. Very quiet and peaceful area. Communication was spot on and it had everything we needed. Can’t wait to go back!

Nice and comfortable property

Nice setting with beach access, very comfortable and clean. St Augustine’s historical district gives an added element to the FL beachside vacation. The Keurig coffee maker does not work.

Condo was covered with roaches. The kitchen was a nightmare. Every morning their would be roaches

Very disappointed in this condo. Unless you want to share the kitchen with roaches i would not rent this condo. Roaches would be on the counter top at all times. Very nasty
