Charming House Near Creation Museum

If you are a couple or small family looking for a rental in Northern Kentucky as you visit the Ark Encounter & Creation Museum, but don't want to pay for a large house, this is the place for you. This an very charming and comfortable home located about 1.5 miles from the Creation Museum. My wife and I stay in the area at least annually and this is one of our favorite rentals. We will definitely stay here again on future trips!

The WORST VRBO experience ever!!

When we arrived with our reservation in hand, we tried the door code she had emailed to us, but it didn't work. We finally called her and she was shocked to hear from us because she said she double booked the property and someone else had already checked in!! It was 8pm and dark, and we were in a rented car 2,500 miles from home without a place to sleep. She did nothing to help us find another place. She wouldn't even let us have it the next day when these people checked out because she said a veteran had rented it. She did not even ask if we were veterans!! The next day we saw on VRBO a note that said we had cancelled our reservation! Of course, we did not cancel. It was an absolutely horrible experience. Don't stay here!!

Sorry that this was your experience especially since It was out of my control that VRBOs calendar did not sync with my property’s calendar. I’ve been renting through VRBO for almost 2 years and this has never happened before. But to be clear I did find you another VRBO for your entire trip and willing to pay the 800$ difference but when I asked if you wanted me to book it you simply never gave me an answer so I didn’t book it. Also what I said was my next guests is a veteran with his dog so I’m not going to cancel his reservation, besides I could visually see his reservation on my electronic calendar, not yours. He had 8 people in his party you had 3. That also factored into my logic. It wasn’t just because he was a veteran it had other factors that i mentioned. And lastly I had to cancel your reservation to give you a 100% refund. It is literally what VRBO told me to do. Which is what I did after you left the property.

This property fit us to a “t”. We picked it because someone rated it lower because of its remote location. Well in truth, it was not remote in anyway, but perfect for our trip.

It was very easy to communicate with Dawn. We enjoyed the house and it was the perfect size for our girls’ weekend.

Best place for the Creation Museum

With the Creation museum 5 minutes away, it was a blessing to come back for naps and a quick refresher before heading back. It was an easy drive to get anything we needed from Kroger, and the house and property were comforting and private. GREAT STAY!

Perfect Property!

This home was just perfect for us! It was lovely! We had everything we needed! It was quaint, clean, and comfortable. We felt right at home! It was just under two miles from the Creation Museum, which we were visiting. We also enjoyed a 15-minute ride to Indiana for a bite as well as a ride to downtown Cincinnati! We would highly recommend this property!

Great Place to Feel at Home While Away from Home!

We could not have found a more perfect place to stay this weekend! We wanted to visit the Newport Aquarium and Cincinnati as a gift to my kids! This was the perfect size, per effect distance to both places, and was so clean! We definitely recommend this place! Very cozy!

Ski Cottage

Great place to stay right off xway but felt like in the country. We only stayed one night, but was perfect spot to rest and relax after a day of skiing at Perfect North. Place was spotless and comfortable beds. We will be back.
