Boasting 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, this house is perfect for a group of 6-8 seeking easy access to Shawnee Peak Mountain Resort, Sunday River Mountain Resort, Moose Pond, and the Saco River, along with mountain biking and hiking trails. After a day of outdoor adventure, this property will treat you to country living with a full kitchen, dining area, outdoor fire pit, wood stove, and many other feature comforts!

Maximum bookable stay of 29 nights.

No pets with the exception of service dogs.

Great house, lousy weather.

I rented this for my daughter and her kids, ages 8 and 12, for post Christmas ski week. Though the weather was horrendous (rain, fog, rain, more fog) and the main chairlift at Pleasant was broken the entire week, they loved the house and made the best of a bad situation. No complaints.

Lovely cottage 7-minute walk from shared beach on Moose Pond.

This cottage was immaculately clean when we arrived, and has all the comforts of home. It is charming. The beds are comfortable. There were only two drawbacks. There is no bbq and the yard was very wet and swishy when we were there, so not a place to hang out. The price is fair. The community pool is about a mile from the cottage and has a parking lot.

Repeat performance

This was our second rental of this property, which is in a great location for getting to other sites and attractions. The site itself is on a lake and it also has a swimming pool. The house is quiet and the owners are very responsive if there is an issue that needs tending..

We are a multicultural family with a very diverse background experienced in small business entertainment and services. We are recent empty nesters watching our four young adult children adapt to life on their own. We love everything about Maine and especially Bridgton and Moose Pond. Our family roots go all the way back to the tree clearing which occurred circa the 1930s on the original ski slopes located on the north side of Pleasant Mountain (Shawnee Peak). We want to share a connection with our guests to the community and rich history we endear so much.
