Ubicado a pasos del nuevo Acadia Gateway Center. Recoja su pase del parque justo al otro lado de la calle y deje su automóvil si desea tomar el autobús gratuito Island Explorer hasta el parque.

Disfrute de un lugar acogedor para relajarse después de hacer senderismo o turismo. Dormirá plácidamente lejos del ruido y el tráfico de Bar Harbor y se despertará a solo minutos del Parque Nacional Acadia, restaurantes y tiendas. Tendrá la unidad de abajo de un dúplex para ustedes solos, con su propia entrada privada.

Relájese en el porche, pasee por nuestro sendero junto al arroyo y los jardines orgánicos amigables para los polinizadores. ¡Esté atento a las águilas, garzas azules, patos, zorros y tal vez incluso una foca! Disfrute de nuestros cielos oscuros nocturnos para disfrutar de impresionantes vistas de la Vía Láctea mientras se sienta alrededor de la hoguera.

Vistas panorámicas de un estuario de marea a pocos pasos del porche trasero. Puesta para kayak y canoa. Es un corto remo desde aquí hasta Frenchman Bay con hermosas vistas de Mount Desert Island. (Puede pedir botes entregados por un equipo local con anticipación y guardarlos aquí durante su estadía). Volta, un gimnasio de escalada cubierto, se encuentra a poca distancia.

Estamos orgullosos de ser un alquiler vacacional ecológico. Certificado como hábitat de vida silvestre nativa de la Fundación Nacional de Vida Silvestre y Estación de Paso de la Monarca. También participamos activamente en nuestro proyecto local ecológico y nos hemos comprometido a reducir nuestra huella de carbono. Nuestra electricidad y calefacción funcionan con paneles solares. Utilizamos limpiadores ecológicos y champú y acondicionador no tóxicos. Hay aire acondicionado para los calurosos días de verano.

This property is beautiful and peaceful. It was very clean as well. A great place to stay while visiting Acadia and Bar Harbor. The host had many recommendations for dining and things to do. Would definitely stay here again. And recommend to family/friends.

Barb was the perfect host. The property is absolutely beautiful with stunning views of the changing tides of the river. It is quiet and peaceful. The location is convenient to anything you would want to see. Everything you might need is provided. Thank you for a fabulous vacation.

Outstanding rental. Great location near Acadia. Location on river with gardens and wildlife was beautiful. Host was perfect - great communication at all the right times, available for questions, and otherwise left us alone. This rental is an apartment / duplex situation but felt very private. Would 100% rent again.

The cabin is absolutely beautiful and comfortable. Barb has thought of everything you could possibly need during your visit. The back yard has a picture perfect view of the Jordan River. My two nature loving sons had so much to explore on this property. The location is great and I highly recommend using The Island Explorer to visit Acadia National Park during peak times to avoid the stress of finding a parking spot. The pick up location is just a two minute drive right across the street at The Gateway Center. Check in was super easy and Barb is fast to respond to anything you may need. If we were to find ourselves visiting Maine again, we would definitely stay here again!!

This place was just what we were looking for. Perfect location for the things we wanted to do, but located in a quiet area. The place was beautiful and very clean. Would recommend this property to anyone looking to explore Bar Harbor and Acadia.

Kitchen plus whole house was fully equipped plus any thing we could have possibly needed. It was very clean and had a beautiful view out the back of the home. The location was great as we had easy access to Acadia Nat park as well as exploring Schoodic area. A real treasure!!

Perfect place

Barb’s home is the perfect place to stay. The unit was lovely and the setting near the river and gardens is beautiful. Close to Acadia, Bar Harbor and there are many things to see and do. Highly recommend!

Amazing Stay

We had a wonderful time at the property. It had all the items that we needed for our stay and the views and property itself were perfect for the five of us. We especially enjoyed the trail in the woods that led back to a waterfall and the amazing views from the back porch. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone.

Excellent Stay

Barbara was the perfect host! The apartment was perfect and the view out the back windows was so beautiful! The drive to Acadia National Park was only 10 minutes away. Great location!

Spring break in Acadia

Great peaceful locale

Great experience. Accommodations were amazing. The little touches by the owner really added to our experience and enjoyment of the property. We'd definitely stay here again. Great distance from the national park and Bar Harbor. Very peaceful and serene.

Home away from home

My husband and two kids (16, 11) had every thing we needed to feel right at home at this lovely property. After long mornings of hiking at Acadia, we looked forward to lazy evenings relaxing with beautiful views at the house. The well stocked and organized kitchen made it very easy to make breakfasts and dinners so we didnt have to eat out, and we enjoyed playing games and working on puzzles in the evenings. It was a great stay!

We had a lovely stay here while exploring Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. It was nice to come back in the evenings to somewhere quiet with plenty of room for our family of five. The back deck was a such a treat with a gorgeous water view! Even though it was quite chilly, we sipped our coffee out there in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. Barb supplied us with everything we needed, and was gracious enough to mail my daughter's beloved necklace she accidentally left behind. We would definitely stay here again.

A beautiful view to witness Acadia Fall colors

My sister and I loved staying here. Barb has thought of everything to make our stay here comfortable. The place was spotless and the furniture was so comfortable including the beds. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck enjoying the beautiful view in the mornings and at sunset. A wonderful place all in all!

Riverfield is a lovely Acadia home base

Easy communication with owner on a lovely property just over the bridge from Mount Desert Island. This was our first trip to Maine and Barbara’s Riverfield house helped make it a trip to remember! Very clean, lovely property, magnificent morning coffee views.

Nice retreat from Bar Harbor throngs

The property was exactly as described and served as a nice retreat from the many tourists in the Bar Harbor area. With the exception of an occasional airplane we enjoyed a very tranquil environment for rest and relaxation. The water view and grounds are spectacular and Barb was very responsive to our needs. We would stay there again.
