The Space:

NEW LISTING!
This craftsman style home is located on a private lot with 250 feet of pristine waterfront and a private beach. Views from the deck, living room and master bedroom allow you to enjoy the beautiful salt water and tides coming and going. Start your day with coffee on the deck, rent kayaks for a sunset cruise, and finish with lobster dinners and a firepit under the stars. Day trips to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park are just 12 miles away!
The living room and dining room are open and spacious. There is a TV, wifi, and a propane stove in the living room, with a sunset view over the water. The dining room is right off the deck, for the perfect space to have a family dinner.
The kitchen is equipped with all of the utensils, pots, pans, drip coffee maker, blender, etc that you will need. There is also extra seating for two at the island in the kitchen. The windows and open space allow you to be a part of the action while cooking dinner, or packing lunches for that hike.
The 2 bedrooms are on the main floor with the open concept living space.
Bedroom 1: Main bedroom with a closet, armoire, and a built in desk. The windows have black out curtains, and a water view. There is a brand new Heat pump/AC in the main bedroom!
Bedroom 2: Two twin beds, closet and bureau. The windows have black out curtains.
Bathroom: 1 bathroom with a tub/shower, and plenty of storage. Towels and all linens/pillows are provided.
Deck: Table and chairs are ready for your quiet enjoyment. There is a propane grill with propane supplied.
Downstairs: Washer/dryer, and a game room with a futon and a foosball table.
Outdoor shower: Wash off from the beach, or shower in the salt air! This is a great experience if you have not ever tried it.
There is a grocery store, bakery and restaurants within 3 miles from the house. Bar Harbor and Acadia National park trails are 12 miles from the house. You can rent kayak/paddleboards/canoes locally and have them delivered. Lobster pounds are within 3 miles, and many things to do. There is a guest book at the house with house rules, things to do, restaurants, maps, etc. Please visit our website simplyrentalsusa for tons of information on the area!

Awesome place! Quiet, clean, and relaxing! Close to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor, but you still have that great feeling of “being away from it all”. Plus, this rental has a kitchen that you actually want to cook in! Knives that cut, all the things you need, and cookware that doesn’t feel like it will need to be replaced in a week. Having rented a lot or cabins, that was a welcomed bonus!Everything we wanted in a cabin that was close to Acadia National Park — and communication with the host was a breeze. We’ll be back!

We loved the property it was very quiet and secluded. The view and water access was excellent. It was a reasonable distance and pleasant drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor.

We really enjoyed the house! It was clean and well kept with all of the basic items we needed. Our only complaints were that the shrubs by the fire pit need to be cut back a bit so you can view the water when sitting there, and it would be nice if there was a path from the driveway to the front door instead of trekking across the wet grass.

Cute and cozy house with comfortable beds. Couple minor issues with the refrigerator staying cold and with the dryer turning on but we received very quick responses both times. Very quiet and relaxing area, enjoyed exploring the shore at low tide and watching the stars while sitting by the fire pit in the evening. Was nice to be able to grill and eat on the deck. The view was amazing and was a great place right outside of Acadia! We loved coming back to our own hideaway with the beach and watching the water. The house has a cabin feel with the electric wood stove. There were plenty of appliances, spices and such to cook as well! Definitely would recommend to a friend for a getaway.

The location was perfect for us and the privacy was amazing. The house was super clean and had everything we needed. The view out the front windows are wonderful. The only suggestion I have is perhaps investing in a larger tv. Thanks for sharing your property with us and we hope to possibly book for next year.

What a perfectly lovely little spot to be secluded and enjoy our family vacation together! We rolled in right at sunset and got the most beautiful, welcome and pictures! It was quaint and a lovely little stay. I wish there had been plants or something a little bit more homie, but it was a perfect little stay for our family! It’s wonderfully situated 25 minutes from Bar Harbor and we had the best lobster dinner ever at the Trenton Bridge lobster Pound just a few short minutes away. It couldn’t have been better! Unless of course it had a hot tub lol. We very much enjoyed our stay there! I do wish some of the brush beyond the fire pit were cut a bit lower so that we had a better access to view the gorgeous view! The difference between low tide and high tide was astounding, and both were equally beautiful! Very peaceful!

The property is right in the water and has an amazing view! Every night we were treated to a gorgeous sunset. The home is cozy and host is wonderful. We would stay there again!

Great location for Acadia/Bar Harbor if you are looking to stay away from the crowded areas. Very quiet and peaceful. Beautiful view.

Great location and property
We enjoyed staying here. The place was very clean and my husband enjoyed collecting mussels during low tide. The property had many extras that you don’t always have in some rentals. We enjoyed the views and the quiet nature of the property. We would stay again.

Very much enjoyed this beautiful area of Trenton with its colorful foliage and serene water. Convenient to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. House is quaint and cozy. Great stay.

Cozy and quiet
The home was the perfect spot, close enough for day trips on the island but far enough from the hustle and bustle. Had an amazing view of the ocean. We were able to see so many stars that we usually can’t see in the city. We enjoyed our stay and will absolutely book again!

Quiet & Beautiful location to relax and launch a journey to Acadia.
We stayed here for our "mini-moon" after our wedding in Maine. We wanted to explore Acadia and have a quiet place to unwind. We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and exploring the shoreline. The house met our needs.
