One of the great things about Mountain Lodge and our building is the easy access to ski
in/ski out! It makes life much easier when hitting the slopes. If you simply walk down
the parking lot you will cross the bridge onto Double Cabin, a green (easiest) run that is
great for families. Double Cabin will drop you into Lift 10 or the Chondola.

A few steps from the slopes

Perfect location in Mountain Village… just a few steps away from the “double cabin” trail. The full kitchen was nice to enjoy some meals in after a long day of skiing. Blair was great in answering questions that we had. Enjoyed our stay there for the week.

Mountain Lodge

It was just as described. Cute place. Clean, comfortable and in great location. Loved the fireplace - easy to operate. Instructions for the unit were clear. It was well stocked with extra towels, too, dishwashing soap, etc. Upstairs loft is roomier than the downstairs bedroom. Wish there had been coffee grounds for our first morning.

Telluride Trip

Had a great time, property was clean and in a nice location. Had trouble reaching the valet service one morning because only one person was working, but was able to contact the front desk and get that fixed quickly. Overall had a great experience.

Great Place

Perfect place for family with older kids who are on the go. Quick walk to Gondola to access Mountain Village/Telluride food and drink, hiking, etc.

Beautiful place

The property and room were beautiful, modern, clean, well equipped. The workers were very friendly and helpful. Only difficulty we had was the stuffiness and heat as we had read in other reviews. This is a result of 2 uncovered skylights in the loft that let in light at sunrise and heat all day. Other than this it was very comfortable, beautiful, good communication with owner.

Telluride Ski-in, Ski-out Condo

We enjoyed staying this property. It's clean, has a nice deck with afternoon sun, and is located on the Two-Cabin Ski run. The hot tub and pool area are nice and exceptional views.

Wonderful

House, location and host were all wonderful! It was super easy to ski in/out on Double Cabin, even for our 4.5 year old! Beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed to cook meals in kitchen. We plan to stay here again!

Love it

We go to Telluride yearly and stay at the Mountain Lodge several times. This property is great for two couples, is clean, and has everything you need. We will certainly consider it again.

Very nice please in Telluride

This was a lovely place to stay. It’s conveniently located right off of the Double Cabin run, which leads you down to Chair 10 (Sundance), Chair 1 (Chondola) and Big Billie’s restaurant. This is great because it’s a nice, easy green run for beginners to ski in and out of. The facility is nice and there is a shuttle that can take you over to the market where the free gondola is or over to Mountain Village. You can take the gondola into town so you really don’t need a car during your stay.

MLK Ski Weekend

Communication with the owner was excellent, both pre arrival and during the stay. The building the unit in had a water issue where water was shut off for about 8 hours and went into the evening but that was out of the owners control. The biggest issue was that the sheets were not cleaned, they were recycled from the previous owner and the unit did not have any extra clean sheets to be used. If you rent the unit I do recommend bringing your own bedding. Location isn't great, you will need to call a shuttle to get access to the Gondola, hot tub/pool access is also difficult as it's a 5 minute walk to main building.

Roofers on the roof with a skylight looking into my daughters room

We loved Mountain Village and the property was beautiful. Unfortunately, there was lots of construction going on that we were not notified about. The VRBO manager said she didn't know and the Hotel Manager said she knew about it. Regardless, neither told us of the construction and we checked in after dark. My 15 year old daughter and 6 year old daughter woke up to men looking through the skylight as they worked on the roof. The next morning the same thing happened again. This situation is absolutely unacceptable, and to make it worse both parties within the management aren't taking responsibility. We did receive a refund for one of our three nights there which I am thankful for.

Telluride Mountain Village

We enjoyed our stay. Unit was clean and very comfortable. Kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals. This was our second time staying in this unit. We would definitely come again.

Nice place on the mountain

The condo was perfect for 4 people for a long weekend stay. We enjoyed the gondola rides down to town as well as exploring mid-mountain.

Mountain Lodge

Overall the condo was in good shape and the location was superb. The lodge has extensive construction work going on, which resulted in loud mornings as workers were starting and in our particular condo the skylights allowed for roofers to see in. The workers were staying in the lodge rooms, which isn’t an issue given lack of affordable housing in Telluride but at night it was loud, especially in Thursday evening.

Great location only one comment to note - see blow

This property is in an incredible location. The facilities and staff are very nice. The unit has all the accommodations you will need. The only remark I think is worthwhile mentioning is that there is no air conditioning on the property or in the unit. We were there in the summer and it got to be very hot during the day, especially in the upstairs loft. There are skylights in the loft that do not have shades so the sun shines in the room until late in the evening and makes it very warm. Opening windows will help cool the downstairs portion of the unit, but the upstairs loft does not cool to a comfortable temperature. I would recommend this place without hesitation if it weren’t for this issue. We were traveling with a pregnant woman and it was very difficult for her to sleep, and it was challenging for everyone else as well. There were some fans available in the unit but all of the controls were broken off of them.
