Lake Escape on Lake Tillery / Gated Community / High Speed Internet

Wonderful large back deck high in the trees, just minutes from the lake. Views of the lake in fall and winter. New cabinets and quartz count tops in kitchen and master bathroom. New shower in the main bedroom. Two additional bedrooms share a new tub/shower combo. Community boat launch, swimming pool, club house, tennis courts, pickle ball court, walking trails, and basket ball goals. House sleeps 6 comfortably. Home is well sanitized before each visit.
We just had the basement painted and added a ping pong table, card table and foosball . Enjoy this additional space! High Speed Internet!
You can bring your boat inside the community. The boat needs to leave the lake and parking lot each day. There is not a dock for guest. We will provide parking at the home, but please let us know if you are bringing a boat. Outdoor security cameras has been installed. Lake Escape is not Pet Friendly.

The location was excellent, gated community, very clean area. The house was well stocked and clean with a cool rec room downstairs. Plenty of water pressure and hot water enough for five people to shower and still not run out. Close to the town of Albermarle, only 15 minutes away, lots of restaurants and shopping options there. Teresa was very responsive and an excellent host!

House was above my expectations! So very clean and comfortable. Well stocked with all of the essentials, plus a basket with snacks, extra toothbrushes and similar things. Would definitely come back!

The house was beautiful inside. It was very clean and cozy . The beds were very comfortable. Teresa the host was very attentive and got back right away with us about any questions we had . We loved the game room in the basement. The pool in neighborhood is awesome with great view of lake! It’s such wonderful family atmosphere. We had very relaxing peaceful time and hope to go back again soon.

Arranging our trip and checking in was seamless. The home was perfect in size for our needs and very clean and homey. The host was always available if needed. The basement game room area kept us entertained in the evenings. Would love to return to this property in the future

The property is well maintained and situated in a beautiful gated community with many scenic views and a nice swimming pool. The property owner was helpful and made sure our vacation went smoothly. There are many fun activities to do near by, as well. We hope to stay there again soon.

Great space. Don’t be thrown by the dark exterior and gravel drive, the inside was very clean and tastefully updated. We nearly missed the basement, but that was also great with a ping-pong and foosball. Host also provided a few snacks and toiletries, which was a nice touch.

Quiet house with everything I needed

The house was very nice overall and in a quiet neighborhood. The kitchen was nice enough with a huge refrigerator. The internet was great. There were lots of deer around. The only issues I had were with the access through the entry gate from River Road. The community apparently put in a new electronic access system and the guest QR codes were not working. This only really became an issue when trying to return to the house at 10PM on a Sunday and there was no guard at the entrance to let me in.

Wow! What a wonderful week. This home had everything we needed. It's small, but how much space do you need to relax? We loved the neighborhood, the public pool, the view from the back deck. Nice perks include high speed internet, dishwasher, washer and dryer in the basement along with pi g pong and foosball.

Nature retreat

Nice, clean and Cozy nice place to relax and close to nature. My family enjoyed coffee in the morning listening to the birds surrounded by trees. The host provided some nice comfort ítems this was a very nice touch! Perfect área close to some nice restaurantes, recomendación iin the host information book.

Relaxing getaway

This was the perfect spot for me to relax on Mother's Day weekend and listen to my boys laughing and playing with each other on the lower level (they loved the ping pong table). The host responded quickly to my questions prior to the visit.

Wedding weekend with family

Another Wonderful Stay!

This was our second time staying at this property, and it was another amazing stay. Communication with owner is always top-notch, property is super clean, accommodations are accurate and meet our needs. The property is very close to the Swift Island Boat Ramp, and the property has plenty of parking for us to bring our boat. Excellent property!!

Cleanest & Cutest Cottage with lake view

We've stayed at a lot of nice VRBO's and this was the cleanest one ever! The winter-lake view was really relaxing and the home is a great layout for a family or multiple guests. Two full bathrooms were spacious and fully-stocked. A bonus is the downstairs finished basement featuring activities and several games. It was a blessing on a rainy day. The cottage is even cuter and more charming than the pictures and the beds very comfortable! The host was quick with communication and check in and out was easy.

I am a retired school teacher. When I retired, we moved to this lake community and have enjoyed all it has to offer. Our neighborhood has many activities for all ages to participate in, or you can just do your own thing. Love the simple things like riding the golf cart around, watching the sun set, or taking a swim in the large pool.
We purchased our 2nd home in Woodrun to have a place for family to stay when they visit. We wanted to share it with others as well.

This property was unoccupied for a year or more. We new it had a lot of potential. After renovating it ourselves over the next 6 months, we have helped to improve it's value and improve our neighborhood.

Lake Escape has access to Lake Tillery. There are beautiful views of the lake from the pool and clubhouse. Walking trails are all around. The back deck from the home is high off the ground and it appears that you are in a tree house. The views of the lake are wonderful in the early spring, fall, and winter. It is located in a quiet neighborhood. New quartz counter tops in the kitchen and main bathroom.
