Take a dip in the beautiful waters of Lake Tillery. Only 15 minutes from the Uwharrie National Forest which offers great trails for hiking and biking with scenic views. Wonderful stay!

We throughly enjoyed our stay in this gorgeous little lake house! The home was immaculate and met our needs perfectly! We couldn’t have been more thankful too have found this beauty! Will definitely stay again!

Wonderful vacation weekend!

Great first time stay and will definitely rebook this property for a future stay! Super clean, adorable property that was well supplied with everything to make our stay wonderful! Great communication from our hosts from start to finish!

Weekend stay for wedding

We traveled to Norwood for a wedding and found this great place to stay. It was in a quiet area and very clean. Our hosts were responsive to questions. If you are planning a trip around Norwood, I recommend this property.

Restful weekend

This was the ideal place. So clean and wonderful location with wildlife and peaceful setting. Our weekend there was more that we could have asked for. Thank you to our host.

Loved everything about this property. Close to town, very clean and up to date appliances. Very well stocked kitchen. Quick responses from owner. Would definitely rent again.

Pleasant stay

My daughter stayed with me one night to help me load the car the next day. My stay was wonderful and relaxing. The house was just the way it was listed. It was in a great location, very very clean and everything you need was provided. Thank you Nicole.

Cute & Cozy

We stayed with our family of 5 to be near family visiting from out of state. Our boat is a ski boat and despite the cove being shallow, had no issues with getting our deep hull boat in and out. View of Morrow in the distance is stunning. Home is perfectly renovated and close to all the Lake Tillery has to offer. Enjoyed this being our home away from home for a long weekend.

Good points. Generally very clean. Kitchen and bathroom, bedrooms and living areas were great. A very quiet and peaceful location. Easy access and parking. Large clean fridge and nice kitchen sink. TV with Roku was good for watching Peacock TV. Less good. Outside grill was dirty and unusable. The screens had holes in them. So it was impossible to use screened in area due to the heat and bugs. The deck table was kinda rusty and the chairs were not great. The dock was covered in large spider webs which was an issue for my wife more than me. She did not want to use the sun loungers there. Although it is on the lake it is really on a small creek or cove that was shallow and perhaps not good for direct access for swimming with very limited lake views.

Hi Jeff! I’m sorry for the inconveniences with the property. Although there are some of those issues we can tackle, the spider webs and lake levels can’t be helped. We treat the dock for spiders and have cleaned the spider webs nightly and they still come back. That’s just part of being in a cove. As for the lake level at our lake house, you typically would be able to swim. The drought has caused lakes across NC to be two feet or more below normal levels. Unfortunately, that is something we cannot control.

Great!

Myself and a co-worker were in between meetings and instead of travelling back and forth to the Midwest, we decided to stay in the area. This location was perfect and everything was exceptional and as advertised. Would stay here again for sure and highly recommend this property!
