Our group had a wonderful time here! The house was plenty big enough for our 6 guests and we enjoyed having all of the outdoor patio space to enjoy! The home was so close to many antique malls that we enjoyed, and we were also minutes from Hershey!

Location was amazing! So close to the park and shopping. House was huge with plenty of room for 5 adults and 4 kids.

We loved this stay! So much room for relaxing and the outdoor spaces were so enjoyable. Would highly recommend this stay for anyone looking to travel into the Hershey, PA area. Was easily walkable to the downtown area of Hummelstown and close to a few dining areas and stores.

The property was in a wonderful location. The house had a lot character and perfect for the 10 of us. The TVs were not in working conditions but we don't vacation to watch TV. We enjoyed our stay.

We had some initial problems with cleanliness of refrigerator, coffee makers, kitchen ceiling fan, and spotted walls. Smoke alarms were non functioning but resolved a day later with call to the host who was very prompt with a response, and security of the house is questionable. This is a beautiful old home but really stands on its own charm; there was not much other decoration to enhance the natural beauty or history of the house. We were disappointed to have to deal with issues that should have been taken care of. Hence it wasn’t a pleasant start to our vacation.

We were very sorry there were a few issues with the home when you checked in. As we stated to you when you called to inform us, we do our best to have the homes ready for our next guest. When we have same day turnovers, our time is pressed to get it ready. Unfortunately, when we have same day turnovers, we depend on our cleaning company and our guest (from previous stay) to inform us when items are missing, not working, etc. If we are not made aware of these issues, we cannot take of them. When you did inform us, we responded immediately. We took care of the smoke detectors that day (a previous guest had removed the battery), offered to take care of the other items, but your group said it was not necessary. In addition to responding immediately, we offered your group dinner on us for your inconvenience. Which you received in the form of a credit. As to the security concern, not sure what you were expecting. There are 3 exterior doors, and all 3 doors have deadbolt locks, which are the "points of security", not the screened in porch you were asking about. These are the same locks we have on all of our properties, including the home we live in. This home is not advertised with a "security system", but it is secure. This is a great home! It is 112 years old, but very well preserved. It's not perfect, but it's a great place for family / friends, work groups or any kind of celebration you need.

Very interesting property with lots of doors and plenty of space. AC worked great (which for a house this big isn't always the case), the little covered patio room thing was also nice too. Perfect place to stay for our weekend going to Hershey Park.

Great location and HUGE house that accommodated my daughter, her boyfriend and her four children. Everyone had their own space. The Kitchen had everything it needed and the place was clean.

House is exactly as described! Beautiful place!

Wanted to take our son and family to Hershey Park. We wanted a house with at least 5 bedrooms and multiple baths and this was perfect! Hope to definitely return someday.

This house was huge and so comfortable for our group! Lots of good living spaces and very clean. Gorgeous old house with lots of character. The only thing I would have wanted is another bathroom upstairs.

Brownstone Inn

House was perfect for three couples and three children. The 9 and 11 year old each had their own room on the third floor. The baby slept in a pack and play in the kitchenette opposite her parents room.

Inn at the Brownstone.

Beautiful historic house! It was a lovely place to gather with friends. I would recommend upgrading or repairing the gas stoves and replacing twin matttress and beds for future guests. If you don’t mind lighting a gas stove with a match or squeaky springs

Balance of old, comfortable and convenient

We really enjoyed the warmth of the home, it’s location and its cleanliness. There’s plenty to do in the area and walkable to shops and restaurants. Jodi was great when I had questions and needed answers. The only improvement would be to have a small washer and dryer.

A lovely home to enjoy!!

We all gathered to enjoy our son's wedding at Hershey!! This house was a perfect location!! Was a busy 3 days and was nice to get back to the house to unwind, sit on th front porch w our wine and talk about each days events!! The bedrooms were quiet and we all got a goodnights rest on th most comfortable beds!! Thankyou for having us at this lovely home!! Will definitely be back!!

Birthday party at Hershey park

The property owner was wonderful. Very accommodating and easy to communicate with. The property is lovely. The house is old but huge. Easy drive to all things Hershey. Don’t miss the restaurant at the Warwick Hotel. It’s in walking distance. Had a great time with 3 generations for a 3 year old birthday.

Great property, so much character and even more room! Everyone had enough space to get ready in the morning, the second living room upstairs was great for hanging out and chatting. There was plenty of space in the yard to play games, and the patio was great for hanging out after a long day at Hershey Park.

Spacious, historic accommodations for our family group

We enjoyed our time at this property. It was comfortable for our multigenerational group. The property is charming with lots of interesting nooks. The kitchen had all we needed to prepare simple meals and we sat comfortably around the dining room table and enjoyed a movie in the living room. We walked to a great diner just around the corner one day. It was too cold to fully enjoy the large yard, but there would have been plenty of space to toss a football, etc.
