Great location,the sofa in the big room with the TV was small and not comfortable.

It was ok for the price of the property, not a 8/10 rating is just my opinion. We had a fun time and I would stay at this place again for the price and location.

My girlfriend and I visited the Wichitas to celebrate our one year anniversary, and we loved our stay here! The donkey and miniature horse were an incredible perk, and the house was clean, and had everything we needed for a cozy overnight stay.

Great choice!

This is a great stay! We booked for our son’s boot camp graduation. The entire booking process was smooth with great communication! The house was homey and clean. We loved our neighbors, the pony, donkey and kitty! Take apples and carrots for the wild ones! Medicine park, Holy City and the mountains were very close! Would definitely book again if ever in the area.

We loved the country setting location. We loved the back deck and the grill, and we saw a mountain lion from the deck while there!

Cozy cottage

We enjoyed the outdoor spaces, the bathrooms were small, but adequate. It was a cozy space and the kids loved being greeted by the pony and donkey in the morning.

Quiet Spot

Great little cabin to stay just off the beaten path of Medicine Park and close enough to walk into the strip. Quiet location.

Overpriced for the quality

There were ants in our rooms, scorpion in the bathroom and a piss stain on the bed. Mattresses are too firm but the property is close to a lot of activities.

Great stay, memories made!

The property was great! We stayed here back in October/November. The host worked with us when his dates for graduation changed! We discovered that the house is not fully ADA accessible. My friend had an injury requiring a walker while in Oklahoma, and the small bathroom with the walk in shower is inaccessible to the toilet with the walker. With some planning we were able to make all things function. She was able to use the main bathroom toilet and the smaller bathroom’s walk-in shower. She was able to get to and from the house with only one step to maneuver! There is a donkey and miniature horse in the neighboring pasture that are fun to feed. We did not get to see the outdoor kittens this time. I recommend bringing apples and carrots for the donkey and horse. (Donkey is more gentle than horse.)

nice house with hungry neighbors

This was a cute little house. The website needs to be updated. This house is not yellow but now red and there is no fireplace but a fire pit. We really enjoyed feeding the friendly pony and donkey next door. For the price, this is perfect. Fun things to do in town and good places to eat.

Mountain Retreat

Outstanding visit. Checkin was flawless. Owner reached out prior to our visit to offer suggestions for the local area and ensure we had everything we needed when we arrived. They left a personalized message on the counter and the house was better than we expected. Very comfortable for up to three couples. Location made for a great jumping off point to explore the Wichita Mountains and Medicine Park. Highly recommend and will stay here again.

Frat house

The location was very good. You could walk to town. There were three bedrooms and two bathrooms but there was no washer or dryer and the refrigerator was too small for the size of the house and food storage. Furniture was what you would find in a college based apartment or frat house.

Great for a Quick Getaway

The location was perfect for our visit to see our soldier at Ft. Sill. Easy to find, great views. I wish the kitchen was better stocked with cooking utensils &pots & pans but we worked around it. Thankfully we only ended up with 4 people of the 7 we expected to come. Otherwise it would have been way too small. One of the bathrooms is really small. Deceptive in the pictures. The grass was not cut so it didn't make for a great picnic space when we brought our soldier for lunch. Again, we worked around it. For the price, location & reason we were there I would recommend it!

Three couples

The place smelled awful. No kitchen table to seat six people. The manager offered our money back or trade places. We think she knew it smelled bad offering our money back right away. We traded places to a cabin to sleep 10. The only way it sleeps six was for part of us to sleep on the floor. The second place was clean and we had a table to play cards on.

They cancelled our room with short notice.

I booked for a day. Upon arrival within the area, I contacted the owner to report that I did not receive the key yet, and I had no way to get in. He reported to me that the room was somehow double-booked, and that unfortunately, I would not get the room that I prepaid for, but that I would get a full refund.

Small house

The photos online show the house as yellow but it is actually red. The beds are hard, the bathrooms are very small and don’t have anywhere to store hygiene products. The bath tub is very slippery. House actually sleeps 8 not 10 as there are 3 queen beds and two futons. It is conveniently located close to medicine Park and Lawton. It wa nice to be greeted every morning by the pony and donkey next door, bring apples if you can, they love them.
