This is a magnificent one bedroom condo with two beautiful bathrooms, both with large walk in showers, right on the Sea of Cortez at the Villas De Cortez in the Van Wormer Resorts. Walk out your sliding glass door and you are steps to the pool. Then down a few steps to the Sea of Cortez. First floor units are a big plus in this building, since you do not have to use stairs or elevator to access pool area.
Location of this building is in a perfect location, since you can WALK to the Heart of Los Barriles in minutes. Two grocery stores are very close as well as many great, inexpensive restaurants. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION
There are two queen sized beds in the bedroom, and a sofa and a big futonin the living room. So the unit can sleep 6 comfortably, if 2 in each queen. This condo is in the Villas de Cortez Unit #1105.
This is a well wonderful price for this unit. This unit rents from the Management company for $320 to $380 per night or more.. Our rates are based from $250 per night plus Mexican taxes, which can vary for high and low seasons, plus a modest cleanup fee at departure (around $75 US). Los Barriles is a quiet village with many good casual inexpensive restaurants, and affordable shops. A great place for a couples get a way or a family vacation on the ocean in luxury. The wifi has been upgrades to a fiber optic system at the Villas de Cortez. I agree, the system before was not good , but now it is GREAT

Great unit and location. Had another unit in the complex rented too for other family members and had a great week of fishing, ATVing , hanging out by the pool and on the beach! Richard our host was great!

The location of this Condo was ideal! From your east facing doors, you could watch the sun rise over the water or step outside for an unobstructed view on an expansive patio with cushioned lounge chairs. I chose the latter with my coffee cup in hand. Dick was very responsive to all of our needs and questions both before and during our stay. Having a condo rather than a hotel is far superior in my opinion. The extra space and amenities (full kitchen and 2 bathrooms) are all a big bonus! We would definitely stay here again if it was available.

Beach getaway
Quick beach vacation. Great location to walk to town. Beautiful beach. Comfortable condo, stocked with what we needed for some basic meals.

Beach and pool were both food amenities. Unit was clean though could use some minor repairs. We were disappointed that the unit did not include a washer and dryer as listed. Also there isn’t any fitness center. The owner said that the adjacent hotel did have exercise equipment, but when I inquired, I was told that only hotel guests were allowed to use the equipment and I was not permitted not even for an additional fee.

I am the owner and am at the unit on May 18. 2026. Everything is in perfect shape. We do have two pools here at the Villas. But the hotel next door does no longer welcome our renters at their pools. So we are independent of the Palmas de Cortez Hotel .

Amazing location
The location is amazing, and being able to walk out to the pool from the space was perfect with small kids. The unit itself could use a bit of upkeep/upgrades, but everything worked and we were overall very happy with our stay and the communication with the owner when required .

Nice Condo!
We enjoyed our stay at this condo. It was clean and roomy. It is located in a great spot poolside with a great view. Owner was helpful when needed. We would stay here again.

Great, relaxing time in Los Braille’s
This property was as awesome as described! The ground floor unit is super convenient with just a few steps to the beach and a great view just from the living room. Everything was comfortable and the location was fantastic! We will totally stay here again!

Great Stay
We had a wonderful time in Los Barriles and this property is perfect - easy access to the deck, pool, and beaches and a short walk into town. The place was clean and spacious. There were a few amenities missing that would have been helpful, but overall great stay.

Summer vacation
The condo is in the perfect location to enjoy all of what Los Barriles has to offer, pool, beach, town and restaurants. The owner was very responsive when we had any questions or needed assistance. We enjoyed our visit and can't wait to come back.
