The property was beautiful and so relaxing. My family enjoyed relaxing by the dock and appreciated how close it was to grocery stores and the little towns near by. Highly recommend!

We came down for a family reunion. This was our first VRBO and it was excellent!! Everyone loved going out on the kayaks and just enjoying all of the nature and quietness.Will stay here again, but for longer than just 2 nights!

Perfect. Adorable home on the water. Amazing views, great dock. Has everything you need. Convenient to historic Onancock shops and restaurants. We loved everything about the home. Host was amazing! We have stayed at a few rentals in the area and this is my favorite! Hope to be able to stay again!

This cottage is the perfect place to unplug and enjoy the peace of time gone by with all the modern comforts of home. Our family loved the charm and the location of this cottage and Meg was extremely helpful and supportive in making sure we have everything we needed.

Nice quiet location. Directions to the house were good. Check in was easy. House was comfortable for 8 people.The host and VRBO support team were very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, there was a fish and chicken legs in the freezer that were old and should have been removed before we arrived.

Girl’s Trip

We had a wonderful stay. We enjoyed the kayaks and the firepit as well as a few local restaurants. The house was clean and the host was very responsive.

Relaxing Hideaway

This is a great place where one can feel at home. Extras include Kayaks for a bit of paddling and plenty of birdwatching.

Relaxing

My wife and our two boys and I spent a week at the Creek House. It was a lovely place to relax, fish, kayak, and dig into a good book. Town is a quick drive away and has everything you’d need. We would book with Meg again.

Beautiful waterside property

We loved staying here. The property and yard were beautiful with a brand new dock and private beach for the kids to make sand castles at low tide. The house was clean and well equipped.

Eastern Shore Visit

Lovely home with a beautiful waterview. Perfect base for exploring Tangier Island and wonderful dining in Orancock. Meg is a terrific host!

Creek House Weekend

This is a wonderful property, with beautiful views of the water and the surrounding nature. A well appointed house and very comfortable.

It was a very cute home with a lot of character and a beautiful view of the water. The downstairs bathroom wasn't the cleanest, but the one upstairs was fine so we just used that. It had an old house smell, but I suppose there isn't much that can be done about that. None of that really impacted our stay, though. It was very relaxing, a fair price and a great location halfway between Cape Charles and Chincoteague. I would stay there again.

Cute cottage with a beautiful view.

It was like a weekend at grandmas house. This charming cottage has a nostalgic feel that made our stay cozy. The beds are very comfortable which is always important to us. The view overlooking the water is beautiful. It was perfect for what we needed for a weekend stay. Short drive to town where we enjoyed meals at Corner Bakery, Maurice’s and Mallards.

Women at Rest and Play

Our DC book group from years ago, now friends of 30 or so years, had an absolutely lovely time, based at Meg’s place in Onancock. We just skimmed the surface of the town and area possibilities!

Quick getaway

Meg is a wonderful host! Exceptionally clean house, beautiful views, easy to access, quick response. Just bring food and some wood for the fire pit and your golden! Would 100% come again.

Charming house on the river

Exactly as advertised. Very comfortable home. Fully equipped and very clean. Beds comfortable. We enjoyed the pier for fishing and the fire pit for roasting s’mores. The house was wonderful to work with.

Nature At Its Best

This trip was our semi-annual Sister's get-together and we all enjoyed our stay. There are 6 of us but only 3 could make it this time. We hope to stay again when everyone can be there. The house was perfect with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The setting, view and sounds of nature were peaceful. Lots to do in the area too!
