Slip into the bubbling hot tub under the shimmering moon to ease your muscles from boating or skiing earlier in the day. Or, walk directly onto the sunny, sandy beach from the backyard. Stepping inside, this Dollar Point vacation rental offers a most welcoming experience. The warmth of the great room easily accommodates quiet, intimate evenings in front of the large windows on the plush sofas. Or, enjoy visiting with family and friends around the large wood-burning fireplace. Meals are a pleasure to prepare and serve in the well-appointed kitchen and adjoining dining area. At day's end, seek refuge for a restful night's sleep in any one of the comfortably furnished and inviting bedrooms with linens that are soft and plush. You will realize the views of Lake Tahoe are magnificent upon retiring for the night or upon awakening to yet another memorable day at the lake!

The Dollar Point neighborhood is well positioned to enjoy a plethora of activities, with its central location between Kings Beach and Tahoe City. Stroll or cruise the bike path from the neighborhood to downtown Tahoe City and beyond, following the flowing Truckee River to Olympic Valley. Enjoy family-friendly events all summer long at Commons Beach. In the winter, this neighborhood is central to numerous world-class skiing options, including Palisades Tahoe, Northstar California, and Homewood Mountain Resort. The nearby sled hill at Granlibakken is fun for all ages, and the Tahoe City Winter Sports Park offers ice skating, sledding, and winter trails. Across the street, the Tahoe XC Center, a local's favorite, offers cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter, and in the summer is an extensive trail network for hiking and mountain biking, with beautiful, scenic trails for all levels. Pet Policy
Pets are allowed only at properties that indicate Pets Considered in the amenities tab. If you are planning to bring your pet, please conduct your search specifically for a home that is pet-friendly. Prior written approval is required, and a pet fee applies. Please call our office to inquire about your pet, as homes may have varying policies.

County Rules
Each county requires we inform you of the rules and regulations relevant to your home's Short Term Rental Permit. We thank you in advance for abiding by the rules below, also included in your signed in the Vacation Rental Agreement.

Maximum Occupancy: There shall be no gatherings, events, weddings or other group functions on the Premises with more people than the number of persons stated on the Agreement.
Parking: Parking on the street is prohibited at all times. All cars, boats, and trailers must be parked in the garage and/or driveway.

Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are 9pm-8am, seven days a week, Noise carries easier and further in higher elevations and over water. Per the ordinance: No sound from the vacation rental home shall be audible from the parcel line during this time. Noise shall be minimized in order that it not be an unreasonable annoyance, disturbance or nuisance to neighbors.

Lights Out: All exterior lights that are not needed for safety must be turned off between the hours of 10pm-7am, seven days a week. Per the Ordinance: All exterior lights must be turned off that are not needed for safety or other outdoor use to the extent that such other outdoor use is not an unreasonable nuisance to neighbors.

Red Flag Warnings: Due to extreme fire danger, bonfires, charcoal barbecues and wood-burning fire pits are strictly prohibited. On Red Flag Warning Days, when fire hazards are especially dangerous, typically due to dry conditions and high winds, additional restrictions are imposed by the North Tahoe Fire Protection District and prohibited. You cannot use outdoor gas grills or gas fire pits during Red Flag Warnings. All outdoor fires are prohibited, both gas and wood. It is your responsibility to be informed of Red Flag Warnings. You will see signs on the front of all fire district stations, hear about it on the news, see it on social media and hear about it on the radio.

Winter Driving
Many highways, access roads and/or driveways are steep in Tahoe/Truckee and may be icy in the winter. To ensure your safety, it is critical that during November 1st - April 30th brakes, windshield wipers, defroster, heater and exhaust system are in top condition. Tires need to be properly inflated and the tread must be in excellent condition. Always carry tire chains, even if driving an AWD/4WD vehicle. Summer Patio Furniture
Patio furniture is available for your use during summer months only. All outdoor tables, chairs and loungers are put into storage in the fall, in order to protect the furnishings from winter weather. Barbecue grills, however, do remain outside for your enjoyment.

Black bears are very common in this area and have become habituated to human food and garbage. Because bears no longer have a strong fear of humans, you may encounter bears during your spring, summer and fall stays. Feeding bears is illegal. Leaving food outside, trash accessible, or doors and windows unlocked is likely to cause significant property damage to homes and to vehicles. Please take a moment to learn how to be Bear Aware, so that we can continue to live in harmony with our wildlife.

Office Holiday Hours
The TLUXP office is closed on New Year’s Day, July 4th, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Therefore, we are unable to accommodate check-ins and check-outs on these dates. Thank you for understanding.

5 star location!

The home is beautiful and the beach/lake access cannot be beat! The views are amazingly gorgeous and we loved being so close to Tahoe City. Everyone enjoyed their stay and we would recommend to anyone! (The only downside was the clenliness of the kitchen - most everything we wanted to use needed to be washed, and the dishwasher didn't work properly).

Quiet and beautiful property

The property management company was absolutely wonderful to work with. The property was beautiful; the location is very quiet and peaceful; you have beach access to Lake Tahoe.
