Perfect for a honeymoon, anniversary or weekend getaway! This church takes you a step back in time. Built in 1862, it was fully remodeled in 2007, but the original stone walls still remain. Set on a quiet property surrounded by pine trees with a little graveyard in the backyard. Located near many Lancaster County attractions.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, microwave, keurig, mini fridge, pots, pans, utensils, and more! Coffee and tea is provided!

Sitting area. Come snuggle up on our oversize sofa in front of the gas fireplace.

Main Bedroom. Equipped with a queen size bed for you to rest and relax.

The bathroom. A spacious bathroom with a full size shower!

The loft. Climb the winding stairs to the loft. Furnished with two twin beds.

This was the second time we stayed at this rental property and we would love to come back again! The place is so clean and welcoming and the neighborhood is quiet and very picturesque! I would recommend this place to anyone looking to relax and get away from their hectic lifestyle! Our hosts are wonderful people who have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable!

Because there was no internet or television, this property is the perfect place to get back to what matters. The place was spotless. The only thing I would recommend is to have a few lamps, which will give a relaxing atmosphere. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property with us.

We enjoyed our stay at the “Quiet, Historic Church, Lancaster County, PA.” The cottage was exactly as described: clean, well-lit, spacious and beautifully decorated. The beds were comfortable, and the towels and sheets were a nice quality. The hosts have created a cozy library equipped with games and puzzles to enjoy. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. There are numerous trees, bushes and floral plantings which create a sense of privacy and an opportunity to enjoy nature. Nearby we found farmstands with fresh produce, a local coffee roaster and historical landmarks with scenic biking/walking trails. This was a 5-Star experience for us!

Beautifully restored stone church in a quiet neighborhood. There was a peaceful spiritual presence about the place. We had everything we needed and loved the atmosphere. We are thankful to the owners for sharing this beautiful home.

The cottage was such a peaceful place! The cottage was very clean and communication with host was spot on. We loved our stay and will return in the future. Highly recommend this cottage!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay.The house was welcoming and cozy. It was a great place to unwind and relax. Beds were comfortable. The reading room was a real treat. The overall atmosphere of the house was warm and pleasant. Definitely felt the simplicity, warmth and character of Lancaster County.

the place was very clean and spacious, quiet location just as we wanted and close to all. we will be back. the only thing was that there was only one bathroom and that the only door was in the bathroom. we were two couples and the only way into the bathroom was thru the bedroom. that was little uncomfortable during the night. otherwise the place was great.

Excellent Cozy Escape

The cottage was tastefully decorated, cozy and well appointed. Quiet setting in the Amish heartland. This historic building was lovingly restored to become an inviting retreat.

Perfect Holiday

The Cottage is like something out of a story book. We came up from SC and stayed here Christmas week as a base of operations while visiting family and friends. It is cozy and warm and peacefully quiet - just perfect!

Weekend away

My husband & I enjoyed a quiet relaxing weekend away at this cozy cottage. We visited a nearby farmers market to make our suppers and breakfasts while we were there. A Wolfe sanctuary, pretzel factory, the outlets & many other great sites. This was the perfect place to call home for a couple days.

This house is truly a one of a kind experience! Perfectly designed, clean as a whistle and every little comfort thought of. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting outside and just relaxing. Communication with the owners was very simple and thoughtful.

My wife and I were very impressed with our stay. Easy to find(we put Mt. Culmen Cottage in our GPS) The cottage was very clean, it was a little home away from home. It was so relaxing. We will definitely stay here again!!
