Welcome to Trela Sands! This beautifully remodeled 4 unit resort is located in South Palmetto Point, Eleuthera Bahamas. The property is 14 miles south of Governor’s Harbour Airport (GHB).

Trela Sands is 50 feet from the beach on the Caribbean Sea and has beautiful views. Start your days watching the sunrise to the east, sunsets over the Pineapple Cays, and star gazing at night. Spend time relaxing on the beach, kayaking, or exploring Eleuthera and all it has to offer.

This listing is for the 1 bedroom, 1 bath suite on the ground floor. For larger groups there are additional suites available. This suite has all the amenities of home, but with a view. The open concept living area has room to enjoy reading, lounging, or watching TV. The dining area has seating for 4 and the fully equipped kitchen has all new appliances including a dishwasher. There is a screen porch to enjoy outdoor dining and a large patio to enjoy the beautiful views. The bedroom has a queen size bed and has a murphy bed in the living room. From beach towels to blenders, Trela Sands has it all.

This Island Paradise Has It All!

We enjoyed the 3 bedroom garden suite for 5 marvellous weeks. The beautiful beachfront house is immaculate. Tracy’s attention to detail is superb. The suite has a well appointed kitchen, comfortable beds, great WiFi & A/C. The living room area has great seating for movie nights. The screened in porch is perfect for al fresco dining and very private. The outdoor shower was an unexpected hit for all. Now my favourite part - the “private “ beach in front offers chairs, loungers and umbrellas. The water entry is shallow and safe for children. Loved the kayaks and paddle boards. You can easily reach the nearby islands and PaPaw beach. The other bonus for us was that we met other travellers as Trela Sands consists of 4 suite units. Most days we would share our adventures and get more great travel tips. The common theme was “this is beautiful and we want to return “. The provided cooler and beach chairs were perfect for visiting other beaches. Tracy and Randy are wonderful hosts. All our queries prior to arrival were immediately answered along with some excellent recommendations for visiting the area. Thank you for the memorable experience. We will be back. Judy & Jamie

It doesn't get any better than this!

First of all WOW! such a fabulous property. Everything that you might need in accommodations. Attention to every detail. Anything you might need is at your fingertips. The beds and linens are very comfortable and cozy. The towels are thick and lush. We had such a large kitchen to prepare meals in and a wonderful seating area to watch a movie at night. The outdoor shower was refreshing and private. The screened in porch was perfect for just relaxing with a cup of coffee in the morning or having a cocktail in the evening. The view of the ocean in front of the house is stunning. You can watch sting rays and big fish cruise by when the water is calm. The chairs and umbrellas by the water were perfect for sunbathing and chillin. The kayak's and the paddle board were so much fun. This house has several units and would be great for several families or friends that want to vacation together as well as couples that want to just chill. The owners Randy and Tracy were delightful to talk to and Rickey the caretaker was very kind and helpful with anything you might need. Please save us a place in the future... we will be back. Until next time... Cheers!
