Lovely home

Perfect house for us - 2 families. Beautiful house. Clean. Kids loved the game room - played cornhole and ping pong. We’ve been coming to Old Forge for years and years. 1st house that has provided bedding, towels, household items (paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, etc etc). Homeowner responded quickly to texts. Good time had by all!

Amazing House, perfect Location

The House was truly epic, plenty of space, up to date amenities and very cozy. Location was perfect! Close to Old Forge, Inlet and the ADK park. Perfect for our family.

Family time

Spent the week with family and this house was perfect for us. Plenty of room and a great gathering space on the first floor. The deck is amazing! Owners very quick to respond to questions. Highly recommend!

Old Forge stay

House was beautiful and well stocked. Surrounding property was not quite as expected compared to photos of listing. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Amazing home!

This home was perfect! Our family had an amazing time here. We had everything we needed and more. The home was spotless upon arrival. Lots of games and activities. We would absolutely stay here again. Sean and Linda were easy to get ahold of, and Linda graciously answered my question about a local attraction before our stay.

Beautiful Property

The house is beautiful and located just minutes away from Old Forge town. Sean was great to communicate with, the check in-out process was effortless! We would definitely stay here again!

Great property!

Clean and up to date. Kitchen was fully stocked and many extras left behind by other guests which was very helpful for in house dining. Great location too! Only cons were that the climate control was not adjustable and many rooms were very cold at night and the driveway was very steep and could not pull our boat in. But both issues were not that big of a deal. Overall, a great place to stay!

Perfect stay in Old Forge in the Adirondacks!

The house was perfect for our whole family. It had all the amenities you could need while still having the rustic feel of a cabin in the mountains. Beds were comfortable and the fire pit area was a perfect place to hang out each night. Checkin was seamless and owners answered any questions we had. We would definitely stay there again.

Very nice cabin

Clean and modern cabin. Good location close to both Old Forge and Inlet. We’ve stayed at a lot of places and this was much more modern and felt like a true home with fully stocked kitchen and really bedding.

All the comforts of home

A great place to stay that includes all the comforts of home. The owners are responsive and answered questions right away. It’s great being so close to the tourist part of Old Forge, yet feeling like you are far enough away to enjoy quiet time with family/friends. Would recommend and stay again.

We had an amazing 5 days. The house is beautiful and exactly what we needed for our group. The location is perfect. Close to town, but quiet and peaceful. The house had everything we needed to completely enjoy ourselves and really make it a memorable family trip. Sean and Linda are fabulous! Sean was kind, helpful and easy to work with. Their property manager Leann was also wonderful to deal with. We found that the grill had run out of propane and Leann helped us immediately. We are so grateful for an amazing stay and hope to return in the future!

Beautiful property

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. It was easy to find and close to town. I liked that it was on a dead end street so our family could go for walks. The driveway is very steep but we had no issues coming to going. Access to the private beach was a huge plus for a family with young children and the water was warm. We had nightly fires in the fireplace and the kids loved the bunk beds. Everyone was clean and neat when we arrived. We plan to be back again!

Great Home for a Family Vacation

This home was everything advertised and more. I went with a large group for a family trip and there was more than enough space for everyone to relax and sleep. The home was beautiful and very clean. Check in/ check out process was seamless and communication with Al was great as well as he checked in to make sure we had everything we needed.

loved everything about the property. there was only one window with a screen on it on the lower level. would of liked to open some more windows on the lower level. all the upper bedrooms had screens on them. love that cool air at night.

Mountain Oasis

This cabin was a perfect size for our large family (6 adults, 5 kids all under age 7), with plenty of sleeping space and outdoor space to relax (there was even room to set up a small tent in the back!). We enjoyed the fire pit, grill and ping pong table. There is a small, sandy, private beach on 4th Lake about a mile down the hill and we managed to get the kayaks down there one evening (although the kayaks are large and heavy, thankfully we had a vehicle that could transport them). The cabin is in a perfect location, a 5 minute drive to Bald Mountain, 5 minute drive to town and a 10 minute drive to the transfer station (can’t miss it!). Al was courteous and quick to respond to texts and emails. The cabin is clean, well kept and private... truly top notch, we will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful cabin in the woods!!

Our family of five was looking to get away for a few days and this property was exactly what we needed! The property owner Al, was very responsive and answered all if my questions even before we booked the property. If you’re looking to unplug, relax and recharge, this is the place to go. There was more than enough room for all of us, a great kitchen when we didn’t feel like going into town, amenities like washer/dryer, extra beach towels, etc. My children loved the private beach, located only a few mins down the road, bring sand toys! We loved the accessibility to the many hiking trails nearby and the easy drive to the smaller towns. My children are already asking when can we return!!

Relaxing in the Adirondacks

This was a last minute planned family getaway. We were so lucky to find this beautiful property. The house is beautifully decorated, so cozy, close to lakes and we enjoyed everything about it. Sitting by the firepit roasting marshmellows with our grandchildren was heaven. We went to Moose River Farm & walked with the llamas. A joyful experience! The go-carts nearby were fun as well. Al helped out with a minor dilemma when we first got there with a quick call to my husband's phone. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. We would love to come up again this Autumn. Even better than the pictures!

This is an absolutely beautiful chalet! Everything was amazing. The rental and check-in process were a breeze with excellent communication with the owners. Everything in this house from the furnishings, to the beds, to the kitchen, are top-notch. From the moment we walked in the door, we felt welcomed. So many little details were in place to make us feel at home. The deck and fire pit area are great places to hang out. The area is so beautiful and peaceful, and there are so many things to do in Old Forge. Great experience and so much fun! Don't miss out on this stunning house!

Sean and Linda live in Manasquan, NJ, have four grown children and two grandchildren(so far!) We love the beach and boating in the summer; snowmobiling in Old Forge in winter right from our camp.

We've been snowmobiling in Old Forge for 17 years, starting in hotels first and later renting homes for the season. We often dreamed of having our own place. Considerations for the perfect property were that it had to have a two car garage, have direct trail access, be close to town, sleep a bunch of people, and have a great fireplace. When we saw this listing on ADK by owner in December of 2000, we contacted the owners immediately and contracted to buy it two weeks later. It was love at first sight. From the moment we walked into the kitchen, the home grabbed and held us. Waht we saw in pictures couldn't have prepared us for the energy, excitement, and warmth we felt. We knew immediately this home was special and that we would enjoy years of memories with our family and frineds. It's our home away from home.

It's hard to explain the feeling of having arrived in a place that for us washes away all of the busyness of everyday life and replaces oit with wonderment and tranquility. The views from the loft and the deck are awesome in every season. It welcomes you with embrace of the dearest fo friends. The kitchen is well stocked with ever appliances and cookware. The Blackstone grille is perfect for everthing from breakfast favorites to hot dogs and hamburgers to steaks and chops. Cornhole, dart board, ping pong, and poker table as well as a variety of board games and puzzles provide activities after the sun goes down or when playing at home is your idea of fun and relaxation that day.
