Love this retro living room to relax or entertain off the dining room. Bring your clothes and toothbrush, this home is fully equipped to enjoy and experience SLO. Condo is in a quiet neighborhood with views of Madonna Mountain on one side and SLO's rolling hills on the other. Relax in the fully furnished home, the guest bedroom has a balcony with view and comfy outdoor furniture. Settle in to cook a great dinner with the outdoor BBQ. Working from home is perfect in the office/den area upstairs which includes a coffee bar for extra energy boosts! Only four blocks to Downtown SLO! Within such a close distance to downtown, you have quick access to all the wonderful restaurants , boutiques, and entertainment SLO has to offer!

The condo was very clean and had everything I needed and more including beach chairs, umbrella and beach towels. I brought my computer screen and printer, but I did notice that they had both at the property. The location is amazing, a great neighborhood to walk in, walkable to downtown restaurants and shopping, and felt very safe taking my dog out at night. I appreciated how quickly Cindy replied to my messages, even on the weekend. Also, the neighbors across the walk were so nice. I was very sad to leave and would definitely stay here again.

The Haven Properties team was excellent in their communications. The office work spaces were exactly what we needed for our work in SLO. The condo is well maintained and furnished with everything we needed for our stay in SLO

Wonderful stay!

This is a well appointed condo. The manager is friendly, easy to contact and always helpful. We want to stay here again next time we are in SLO.

The home exceeded our expectations! The pictures were spot on so there were no surprises. One seemingly insignificant detail which made a big difference...many good quality hangers in each of the 2 large closets. I like to hang things so my wardrobe is visible and to hang lightly used clothing before it needs a trip to the laundry. BTW, the laundry facilities were great. Walk in pantry/laundry room with good machines, space for folding, well organized. Plenty of laundry soap, paper towels, paper products. Also well stocked with essentials for outdoor activities. Water bottles, backpacks, hiking poles, beach towels.Gas fireplace in LR was a plus. Mornings are chilly so a quick shot from the fireplace was a treat. We also enjoyed the second floor den with very comfortable seating and another TV. It's nice to have another space to get away to, even with just two of us.Kitchen is outdated but worked perfectly well. We cooked quite a bit because we loved the excellent produce available at the numerous farmers markets. Good supply of pantry items left by previous guests so you didn't need to go buy things like salt and olive oil. But the many fun restaurants in town was a major competitive factor to cooking at home. It's a very easy walk to town and sure beats looking for parking places. We had an amazing stay in SLO. A great small city with so much going on. The condo on Islay was a home run.

Excellent stay

My wife and I spent a month in this lovely condo in Dec 2022. It was everything we were hoping for and more. Spacious, bright, modern furnishings, very well stocked, fantastic location. Cindy was very helpful. We hope to return in the future.

Lovely condo

Well furnished, beds comfortable & house supplied with essentials like detergent, plastic wrap, foil, trash bags, etc. Manager was easy to reach & came over when we couldn’t find breaker box for electrical problem. House was cold downstairs the first two weeks & gas fireplace not helpful. Upstairs comfy & had den area for TV watching. Would stay again.

Great Location Charming Neighborhood

It was really great to be so close to downtown. We really got a lot of walking done. We also enjoyed looking at the other homes in the area. A lot of nice Victorians and craftsman homes. it was so great to have plentiful towels and sheets. The one thing that we really felt was missing, was instructions on how to use appliances and other features. The TV, the fireplace, the stove and washer are a little different from the norm, and we would have appreciated instructions. The most complicated thing was the shower handle that was installed upside down and backwards. It is understandable that was done (so people don’t have to get wet when turning on the shower). But because it was so cold when we were there, we tried to turn it to the normal hot setting,and the water was freezing cold. I sent a text to the manager and suspect more instructions will be there to welcome future guests.
