The Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, the largest botanical garden in New England is just 1/2 mile from this home. The CMBG is a horticultural gem and is considered one of the Maine's premier natural attractions.

All of our guests have raved about the accommodations and the spectacular views at our cottage. We choose to inform all of our potential guests that our property is adjacent to a grass and gravel long term parking area. The area is for residents of a small off shore island community called the Isle of Springs. We have been renting Morning Star Cottage for twelve years and have never had a single complaint about it.
