This newly renovated 3 Bedroom / 3 Full Bathroom WATERFRONT Lake House has all the amenities & comfort for your entire family. A Wonderful Place for your Family Vacation, Fishing Trip, or Getaway; Enjoy your stay at our Sunset Ridge Lake House & the YEAR-ROUND BREATHTAKING LAKE VIEWS from all levels of the home!

Upon entering the Main Level, you can enjoy an Open Concept with Kitchen, Living, & Dining Area all on the Main Level. Laundry & Full Bath also on the Main Level. Stainless Steel Appliances fill the Kitchen as well as a Large Island with Seating, perfect for preparing meals, dining, & entertaining. The spacious Living Area features a ROCK FIREPLACE, with 55” SMART TV, WIFI, & Sound System above the Fireplace. Just off the Living Area, you will find a large, screened porch with seating, where you can take in the STUNNING sunrise & sunset, relax & unwind with family and friends after a fun day on the LAKE!

All 3 Bedrooms & 2 Bathrooms are situated on the Terrace Level. Two of the Bedrooms have Sliding Doors to access the exterior. 43” SMART TV’s in all Bedrooms.
Outside the House, you will find a Large Deck, as well as a Gas Grill to cook up your Catch of the Day!

Our Sunset Ridge Lake House is just steps away from our PRIVATE DOCK. Down near the Dock, you’ll find 2 parking pads, available for use to park a boat trailer or small RV.
Conveniently located in Cedar Bluff, Alabama, a short drive from grocery/shopping & minutes from Centre, Alabama, this house is easily accessible via all paved roads. Parking is not a concern, as there is plenty of space for vehicles, as well as your boat trailer. Relax the day away fishing from the dock & make a day of it on WEISS LAKE, fishing for crappie, largemouth bass, striped bass, & more. White and Black Crappie can be found in Weiss Lake~ it’s the “Crappie Capital of the World”!

Please Note: Alabama Power controls the Water Levels, which will be down during Winter months.

At full summer pool, Weiss Lake sits approximately 564 ft above sea level. Weiss Lake consists of 30,200 acres, offering over 447 miles of shoreline and shallow flats, large coves, under-water drop offs and deep channels.

Property is located approximately 100 miles from Atlanta, GA, Birmingham, AL, & Huntsville, AL; and approximately 75 miles from Chattanooga, TN.

Great Place to be, for Summer 2025!

The place was really nice and as described. There was a good amount of space for three couples, and the screened in porch and view was amazing. The host was very responsive whenever I text. The lake home is close enough to Walmart and Ingles for what ever you need. We would definitely stay here again!

Memorial Day family trip

The property was ok The kitchen had been updated and was nice The bedrooms was very small and no lamps in 2of them at allIt was not cleaned prior to our arrival We sent pictures to the host and was given a refund for the cleaning fee we paid Overall we had a good stay but the property was up for sale and there were a lot of things that needed updating and smelled musty

There are NO queen beds. All doubles-they liedIce makers didn’t work-neither of the two-bring your own ice Neighbors dog kept intruding on the property keeping us from walking ours-called animal control and there is no leash law so good luck. Flying insects in the bathrooms and all over-washed them down the drain and they kept coming back. Spiders and bugs lining the sliding glass doors-even had a few bugs in our bed-they need to spray. There is a hole in the screen on the porch so we couldn’t let the dogs out there by themselves to enjoySurround sound system didn’t work at allWasn’t told until after paying that a portion of the property at the dock was allegedly under construction and we couldn’t use it. Never saw a single construction worker. Grill was all rusty inside. Had to clean and oil before being able to use itWe will NOT rent this house again. We left the house in better shape than it was when we got there.

Family Gathering

Great place to spend some time with family, or just to get away if one wanted to. We went in July and the house stayed a comfortable 72 degrees. There was a Wal-Mart within reasonable travel. We really loved the screened in patio setup and the large living area. We would stay here again for sure. No complaints.

Memorial Weekend

Thank you for sharing your property with us. It was a central location for three couples wanting to enjoy a long weekend at the lake. We had perfect weather and enjoyed our time together. The private dock and boat ramp were easy to access, and the available parking for two boats was a huge perk. The screened in porch was wonderful for an early morning cup of coffee with a nice view of the water.

Summer vacation

we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sunset Bridge Lake House. It was very relaxing. The check in was easy. There were a few items we had to contact the management about but they responded quickly. The outside area where a table was had not been cleaned before our arrival but we let management know and again they were very receptive.

Location, views and water were wonderful. While clean, the place seemed to be in need of attention. The concrete was covered in algae scum from AC discharge, spiders and webs inside the house and fixtures such as towel racks and TP holders easily came off and the walls since they were not secured properly. The stairs and railing to the lower bedrooms were dangerous for my elderly father and special needs sister to navigate. Not to code and a serious accident waiting to happen. A standard coffee pot was advertised as provided, but only a keurig was provided. Thankfully, some assorted pods were in the cabinet. We relied on “cowboy” coffee steeped in a pot as there were 5 coffee drinkers in the house. The grill had to be cleaned before we could use it. The starter on the grill didn’t work. Teflon on cookery chipping away. Ice maker didn’t work. Men came to mow the overgrown lawn on Saturday which didn’t bother us, but could have been done before our arrival. The primary living space was wonderful and comfortable with lots of pillows. The screened porch was enjoyed tremendously. Linens were clean and plentiful. smart TVs in every room. With the nightly rate exceeding 300, I expected better quality and maintenance of the house.

Good days at the lake house

Most all good except for the TV conundrum and stairs. Kinda tough on us older folks. But I would recommend it to others.

Very nice stay-

Had an issue with the upstairs air when we arrived. Owner had a service tech to the home and it was repaired (On 4th of July weekend) within 3 hrs> Great service! The beds are full size -Only complaint I wish it had 2 king size beds. Very quite area-the boat dock for swimming was great !!!

A little piece of Heaven on the lake

We just returned from an amazing extended weekend on Lake Weiss. This property is lakefront, with beautiful views from two levels. The house had a well stocked and recently remodeled kitchen, and a spacious open floor plan that was perfect for our family. We enjoyed coffee every morning out on the screened in porch that overlooked the lake, and sat out on the dock each evening to star gaze. This modest but beautiful lake house has all the basics to ensure a memorable family trip! We highly recommend this property, and will definitely be back!

Great house and host is very responsive.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The beds are perfect and the view of the lake is amazing. One note for those who like air circulation in the bedroom for sleeping, you may want to bring a fan as there are no ceiling fans. Great experience overall and they have a traditional coffee maker and a Keurig. The host gives you some K-Cup pods so you have coffee your first morning. Very thoughtful.

Lakeside Vacation

We enjoyed this well appointed cabin with a spacious upstairs living area that included a screened in porch overlooked the lake. One place for improvement would be the deck. It was very old with rough wood and our kids got splinters. Also there was no ladder to climb out.

Fishing/Hunting Vacation Stay

Our stay was great with enough room to comfortably sleep five people and a small dog. The view of the lake was beautiful from the house and it was in a fairly quiet neighborhood. The private dock was nice with plenty of room for parking our boat. Everything was clean, except for the grill on the porch. It was in pretty rough shape prior to us getting there and the pilot to light it did not work. The only other issue was there was a little dog next door that was a little yippy and barked quite frequently but we were able to manage. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay with a gorgeous view and we would probably stay again!

Never Again

Upon entering house seemed clean. When my daughter went to get a bath the bathtubs had dead and live spiders in them . If it had been cleaned prior spiders would not have been in the tubs. The bedrooms also had scorpions in them. We left after just 4.5 hours of being there. I did get a partial refund , however should have got a full refund . That was the most expensive 4.5 hour visit I have ever had.. Outdoor stairs are ridiculously not code. Needs weeded around outside which could be the reason why they have scorpions. It does have a nice view and a dock that we never made it down to see..Management was very responsive to emails and was apologetic for our experience.

Great Lake Retreat with Responsive Hosts

We enjoyed our 7 night stay! The house is great, clean, and had excellent views with an open floor plan. There are TVs in every room with Roku, so you can access your Netflix etc. The owners/managers were also happy to address our minor concerns throughout our stay. The screened in porch was awesome, and the house had VERY large windows allowing excellent views from almost everywhere in the house. Be sure to ask about the kayak rental option. As with a previous guest, I somehow overlooked that there was a road running between the house and the dock when booking. It was not a major concern for us, as our kids have learned to look both ways and the traffic was light (ages 6, 8 and 9). The beds were a bit firmer than we are accustomed to, but we slept fine. Also, be aware that there are somewhat steeper-than-average stairs leading from the first floor to the second floor, so people who have trouble getting around may struggle.

Stunning Sunsets

-Ours was a fall visit. For a quiet retreat & a tour of the lake & the bluffs overlooking the canyons. Cabin has a beautiful panoramic view of the lake with stunning sunsets. -Unfortunately, we could not enjoy the sunsets as we expected because there is a neighboring property with a cute little dog that barks (like clockwork) from 4:45pm until sunset (approximately 1 1/2 hours.) Non-stop barking. Every day. This same cute little dog visited the cabin property often, leaving deposits in the yard. He was friendly enough, but anyone visiting with a dog, should be aware. - Also, a tree service under contract with the power company was trimming trees (over the power lines) every day, chain sawing & chipping throughout the day. One day, they anchored the bucket truck in the driveway of the cabin for what was to be the duration of 1/2-hour, but turned into 4-hours, which included trimming, a coffee break, and a lunch break. There was no way to leave the property during that time. -The facility is well accommodated with all essential needs. There is a gas grill which was nice as we prepared all of our meals at the cabin. (The grill needs to be cleaned & possibly some parts replacement.) -The stairs inside & out are tricky. If visiting with children, bring child gates for their safety.
