It was a great place to relax with a convenient location for anything we wanted to do. The golf cart provided was an excellent way to explore the area and travel back and forth to the beach. The into was clean and had everything we needed.

Stay was incredible. Close to the beach and shopping. Very clean. Team was super helpful. Really enjoyed our stay and will be back!

Good enough for the price

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location, had a golf cart, kitchen table for 6, loved the screened in back porch, great layout and comfortable beds, had a baby gate, box fan, and lots of kitchen appliances. Dirty floors, slow draining sinks, the middle seat on the golf cart sank in deep in the middle - we had to put a rolled up towel there so our littles kid didn’t sink down. Clean sheets and towels and lots of them. Excellent customer service. Very responsive with any questions we had. Could’ve used a more thorough cleaning of the floors, under the bed and dresser there was trash, and removal of cob webs on the screened in front porch would’ve been nice. Had lots of extra beach gear in the storage cabinet. Really nice pools.

Disappointing stay at 626 Bayou

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented a unit through Beach Blue Properties in 2024 and had an excellent experience, but unfortunately, 626 Bayou did not live up to our standards. The unit is old, outdated, and badly needs maintenance and deep cleaning.Here are the specific issues we encountered during our stay:* Cleanliness & Pests: I had to spend hours cleaning as soon as we arrived because the bathroom shower had hair left in it. The couches were visibly dirty, forcing us to cover them with bedsheets just to sit down. The dining room chairs also had food stuck to the fabric; I cleaned most of it, but they need professional cleaning or replacement. Worst of all, there were roaches on the kitchen countertop on our first day. They hid before he could kill them, which left us grossed out for the rest of the trip. We later saw a roach in the microwave and in the kitchen sink. This was the worst of everything and something we’ve never experienced. * AC Issues: The AC does not blow or work at all in the second guest bedroom. My father stayed in that room and had to rely on portable fans just to cool off at night.* Lack of Maintenance Response: The golf cart was plugged in but not charging when we arrived due to a faulty charger. I immediately notified the property manager. They claimed they weren't aware of the issue and promised to send maintenance, but no one ever showed up. * The bathroom sinks do not drain properly and immediately fills up with water.* Comfort & Fixtures: The master bedroom mattress is incredibly uncomfortable and caused us to wake up with back pain every day. Additionally, the curtains in the bedroom are torn and need to be replaced.We know Beach Blue Properties can provide excellent rentals, but 626 Bayou needs serious attention and updates before it is rented out again.

Perfect place to make memories

Great location, it’s the perfect vacation spot. Everything you want to do is minutes away. Like shopping, fishing, or laying on the beach, and the golf cart makes things even better. We will definitely be come back again.

We had great 5 days stay with our family of 7! The location was perfect. So much to do within close proximity such as shopping, dining, going to the beach/pool and having the golf cart made it so easy and convenient. The 3 bedroom, 3 bath layout gave us plenty of space to spread out, and the rental itself was clean and comfortable. We especially appreciated the updated appliances, it made cooking and cleaning up a breeze. Other great perks included the peaceful balcony, the pond view out back, and access to beach and fishing gear in the storage area. This place truly had everything we needed for a relaxing and fun getaway. We’d absolutely stay here again!

Good stay

The condo was really nice and mostly clean. Kitchen applicances were up to date and worked well. Washer and dryer needs to be updated. Overall our stay was nice and area was great. Would love to stay again in the area.

Great stay

Property was clean and as described. Excellent communication with the property manager. Very prompt responses. Golf cart was great. Nice not to get sand all over your car when heading from the beach. Would stay again.

Good stay

Overall, it was a good stay. The dryer didn’t work and it probably needs to be replaced.

Great trip

Check in was very simple, the property is very close to the Baytown area and extremely convenient and nice. Having the golf cart also made this stay extremely convenient. I would recommend. Very glad we had 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Very spacious. There were some things that came up and messaging the owners or management was super easy and they responded quickly.

Great vacation!

My husband and I stayed here for a month in February, and we loved it. The location was very convienent, close to golf courses, grand boulevard mall and the beach. Our townhome overlooked a lake and the links golf course. It was very quiet and relaxing. The golf cart was brand new, and made it easy to get around. The accomodation was spacious and exactly as the listing showed. We would like to especially thank Phyllis, at destin memories, for her quick response and resolution of a few minor issues that we had. We would stay here again and we would recommend this property.

It is to crowded and Sandestin puts up so many umbrellas you can’t hardly move. We just travel down to Henderson park. Much more enjoyable beach experience

1st Trip of Summer 24'

The location and use of the golf cart were the best part of the stay! The house in general was fair. The garbage disposal had an awful smell, most of the decorations were full of dust and dirty, there were bugs flying out of the downstairs bathroom. We decided to stay busy doing activities so that we would not have to be in the house for long periods. The property was not our standard of renting, but may be okay for others. They did provide ample towels if you don't bring your own and the property is spacious enough for large families.

The kitchen had everything we needed and the size of the condo was great for three adults and two children. The beds were comfortable and clean. The location was great and only a five minute golf cart ride to the beach. The pool was also nice as well and heated. We used the beach items that are there as well. The only thing we noticed was the back porch area could have been a little more clean but otherwise it was a great trip. We would stay here again!

Nice condo, convenient location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in this unit for a week in early June of 2025. It backs right up to a nice little pond with a fountain where you have a view of the bay. The central location combined with the golf cart allow you to easily travel between the condo and the pool, the beach, Baytowne Wharf, the Marina, and the shopping at The Grand Boulevard. The screened in porch was nice as well as the upstairs balcony area. You can tell it's a busy vacation rental, but everything was clean and overall we enjoyed our stay here. Note: The grill was in horrible shape. It was badly rusted and falling apart on the inside... and looks to have never been cleaned. So if you are expecting a nice grill to be there, you might want to make other dinner plans.

Great trip!

The property in general was in great shape! The white couches do look a little dirty but no big deal. The location is great and the unit had everything we needed! We were supposed to have two golf carts. One never showed up but the management company loaned us a second one. The one that did come with the property was old and had maintenance issues in the beginning. None of this is the managements fault as the owner probably needs to upgrade carts to ensure others don’t have to deal with the problems. The management company was VERY accommodating and helpful, which we appreciated tremendously! We will definitely use this company to rent from again but probably not this unit. We really want reliable golf carts as that is a huge reason why we pick certain units. Thank you to the managers for going out of their way to make our trip the best!

Nice location but some issues

Property is in a very convenient location and is well laid out. However it definitely needs a very good deep cleaning. Comforter in master bedroom seemed to have shoe stains on it like someone had been laying there watching tv. Also a few other issues. The dryer did not seem to work properly as it took multiple runs to dry clothes. Also, when the two golf carts are being charged it apparently trips the breaker on downstairs tv and wifi so you can not watch tv and charge carts at the same time. We didn’t bother to call mgmt on any of this since we were only there for the weekend and didn’t want to waste some of our time with repair and cleaning people coming in and out. It looks like the cleaning has been neglected for quite some time so I would expect mgmt is already aware of this issue.
