Maravillosas vistas de montaña

The house was perfect for the family reunion (22 total). Everyone liked having their own bathroom with each room and the sound boys loved the bunk bed room. Plenty of room for the family to gather and also space for some quiet time. Views were beautiful and saw deer every day. Close to activities and easy to get to downtown, shopping or restaurants. Overall great time. Only down side was WIFI was out, but also forced some family members to disconnect for a few days. Could always reconnect when in town.

We had a wonderful time over the July 4th weekend! The Piedra Pines home was a great choice for our family gathering. We had 24 people and plenty of space. The bedrooms each had a queen bed and own bathroom - which resolved any potential room conflicts amongst siblings!! (It was a huge help to have “equal” rooms!) The two refrigerators were a plus, for this many people and as much food as we had. We enjoyed the back patio for our holiday cookout with a beautiful sunset by the fire pit. We also spent hours talking on the front porch while the kids played on the tire swings. It was nice to have the game room downstairs and two living rooms. Everyone could spread out as needed! There was a storm the day before we arrived and internet and home phone lines were out during our stay. This was beyond Joani’s control, due to the holiday. Joani communicated the outage right away and even though it was a challenge to go without internet and cell phones, family members went to town to take business calls and the rest of the time we simply disconnected and enjoyed each other’s company!! It worked out. Also due to the holiday, the trash pickup did not happen so the previous guests’ trash and some of our trash filled up the outside dumpster before we left. Joani was again very responsive to our questions and asked us to keep the trash in big bags in the kitchen at departure time. There was one slight discrepancy online about checkout time. The vrbo listing says 10:30 am, yet we were asked to checkout at 9:00 am, via a later email that includes the key pickup instructions. It was not a big deal, as we asked Joani to keep the later time and she asked that we try to depart as early as possible due to other guests arriving, but did not push on the 9am checkout. We managed to depart by 9:30, so it also all worked out. Joani was very responsive overall and great to work with. (Thank you, Joani!) We loved the home, the views (we saw deer almost everyday!) and the location was perfect!!

Our large group (7 families!) loved staying at this home. The views were spectacular and the children had fun exploring/playing on the property. We had ample space for everyone to spread out. The kitchen was a bit small for the amount of food we had to prepare, but we made it work. All-in-all, we would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at Piedra Pines lodge for our family reunion, and it was perfect. Each of the 7 bedrooms has a full bathroom en suite, and there is also a full bathroom near the bunk room on the lower level and two half baths on the main level. The house was equipped with everything we needed. The manager promptly responded and was very accommodating. The whole family was in favor of booking again for our next family reunion.
