Peaceful Lake View Cottage, La Casa Resort, Okanagan Lake

This cottage is ideally suited for a peaceful retreat, with outstanding and unobstructed views of Lake Okanagan. Located 30 km north of Westbank and Kelowna, 30 minutes drive along the Westside Road, in La Casa Resort Development. It is also 7 hours drive from Calgary or 4 hours from Vancouver. Maximum occupancy of 8 people, including children.

In the summer, you will be able to enjoy all water sports on site, with the warm waters of Lake Okanagan through swimming, boating (marina slots available), aqua-park, as well as onsite pool and hot tub. Others amenities at the Resort include 2 tennis courts, a mini golf course for the entire family, beach volleyball court, a marina & boat launch. If you are seeking a winter holiday, this cottage will be a great base to enjoy skiing at the Big White Ski Resort (1 hour 45 minutes), Silver Star Resort (1 hour 15 minutes) and Crystal Mountain in Westbank (1 hour), or nearby snowshoeing and skiing in the backcountry.

There are over 20 wineries, as well as cheese factories, to visit and taste their products, spread out within 30-90 minutes driving from the cottage. As well as several golf courses for another great way to enjoy the hot sun of the Okanagan Valley. Closer to your vacation base, you are only 5 minutes driving north to the Fintry Provincial Park, and 10 minutes from horse riding and ATV riding at Fintry High Farm. Or simply lay back on the deck with a glass of wine, overlooking the waters and boating on Lake Okanagan.

Great get away

The road to La Casa is a long and tough one but the property is fantastic. Many amenities to keep us entertained and the staff are great. This house had everything we needed and Normand was very responsive.

Lovely lake view cottage

Peaceful place to spend a few days. Cottage had everything we needed and we enjoyed hiking down to the beach and hanging out even though the weather was a little too chilly for swimming. But we had the pool and hot tub just up the hill for that. Enjoyed our time - thanks Normand!

Above and Beyond

Instead of Christmas presents, our family does a trip every year. The location was amazing. The house was so cute and the perfect size for our family. There were lots of hills but we knew that before booking. The water park on the lake was amazing and my kids (and husband and brother) loved launching our kids in the air. The pools were amazing. The casa store had wonderful food and everyone was fantastic. Oh and there’s mini golf and a playground

Great!!!

The view from the deck is amazing!! Norman was great to deal with and the property was clean and well maintained for our needs. The only thing I’d say that’s a bit of a pain is the garbage. Having to haul it in a car is not ideal especially when there is nothing close to the house.

Family Vacation

Great stay

Our family had a great stay at this property with an amazing view. The house was well equipped, tidy and clean. We also enjoyed the property and its amenities. Communication with Normand was great too. He was very responsive and his instructions and suggestions were very clear.

Lovely stay

We had a very nice stay with our kids. The view is wonderful and the kitchen is well stocked. It was a nice in between distance from amenities and the beach. Mentioned in other reviewers - know the third bedroom has an open loft pony wall and the downstairs bedroom is only a double bed. This was not an issue for our family but could see that being a surprise for others. Only picky thing would be nice to have more than one roll of toilet paper stocked and some bathroom toiletries but the general store had these things so we were fine.

Clean with a nice view

The property was clean and tidy but in the pictures you can’t tell that the second upstairs bedroom doesn’t have a wall and you hear everything from downstairs, not much privacy.

The property was very neat and all accessorize with what we need. Very friendly neighbourhood. The only down side is no closest store around, no decent food to eat. If they would improve the food or have a decent restaurant around it will add up as reason for people to stay in the resort.

Pleasantly impressed with our rental at La Casa. We were amazed at how well the kitchen was stocked with dishes, utensils etc. Very modern and very spacious kitchen, dining area. Outside patio also a great gathering area. Wish we had known though about the ability to rent a Golf Cart to transport around on. Hills bit challenging in the heat 😳😉 Thank you Normand🤩
