Thank you for the feedback regarding the lighting as well! We have added this to our list of instructions for future guests to ensure they are aware of the light and sensor light locations prior to their visit. We apologize that the light locations were not communicated well, but for future reference there are sensor lights and stationary lights which light up all the stairs and lower level on the dock house as well as the cottage and bunkie. Hi Alex, Thanks for the review and we are glad you enjoyed your stay! Unfortunately since storage space is limited, there is no good spot in the winter months to leave large containers of water and we do list this in our cottage guidelines. Our water from the lake is very clean, and the entire cottage goes through a UV and micron filtration system. The Bunkie is not heated in winter months except on request and we've clearly stated this in our listing however it is included in our rate for the non-heating months. Our listing also states that the Bunkie must be requested at time of booking where we graciously accommodated your last minute request to add an additional family of 5 to your booking. Please note: our cottage at the time of request had already been cleaned and prepped and therefore our cleaner had to return to prep the bunkie and deliver the key to the cottage for your use. Normally the bunkie is charged at $25/night during winter months however you were only billed $50 for the week and this was to cover the cleaners time to return and accommodate your last minute request.
