Absolutely fantastic property, beautiful view of the lake, fun kayaking, good fishing, great fire pit and a beautiful view of the lake from the cottage deck. Our family had an amazing vacation week.

We had a fantastic stay here and highly recommend. Dave was quick to respond to any questions and also had some great suggestions for local food/activities. The cottage was clean, spacious and is on a beautiful, quiet lake. Would happily stay here again. Cheers

Relaxing Stay!!!

Thanks for an incredible stay at your beautiful cottage. The cottage was impeccably clean, kitchen well stocked and offered everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Perfect Stay – Highly Recommend! We had a fantastic time at this Cranberry Lake cottage! It was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed. Highlights included coffee on the deck, super quiet surroundings and great fishing off and around the lake. The location was peaceful yet close to Haliburton for all our needs and the owner’s communication was excellent. We left relaxed and can’t wait to return!

Beautiful Stay

We loved every second of our stay despite the provincial fire band, their was so much to do, swim, relax, paddle board or canoe . The water was incredibly warm and it is a very quiet lake. The house has all the comforts of home yet feels cozy like a cottage. We will be back.

Beautiful Cottage

Cottage was everything you could want, Everything was so clean and well organized. Lots of kayaks and canoes. Great for fun when the weather cooperates, David was an excellent host.

We had an amazing stay and would absolutely recommend this cottage!The kids had a blast canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding, and especially fishing right off the dock. They caught plenty of fish, which kept them entertained for days. The property itself is large and private, with lots of room to enjoy the outdoors, and the huge fire pit was perfect in the evenings.Inside, the cottage was very clean, neat and well kept, with a beautiful view from the deck.One of the things we appreciated most, though, was how well stocked the cottage was. There were so many little things provided that we didn’t have to think about bringing or buying — K-cup coffee pods, condiments, a great selection of seasonings for cooking and barbecuing, soaps, paper towel, toilet paper, towels, linens and more. It really made the stay that much easier.All we needed to bring were our groceries and ourselves — pretty much everything else was taken care of.Such an amazing stay. We would definitely come back!

Cranberry Lake retreat

This cottage is a jewel in Haliburton. We kicked off the summer here and enjoyed all the property had to offer including kayaks and a paddle board. The Owner had the kitchen stocked with seasonings, pasta, unlimited coffee, condiments, butter etc all available for our use. High class cottage that I highly recommend!

Home away from home

It is exactly that. HOME AWAY FROM HOME. Well stocked in the kitchen all you need is your perishables.Beautiful view of the lake. Very relaxing and David was very reachable and accommodating. Will be back next year.

Relaxing vacation

What a wonderful stay we had at your cottage! It was clean with a well equipped newly renovated kitchen. The deck is large and great to BBQ and eat outside. We enjoyed the canoe and kayaks on the peaceful lake. The loons, heron, ducks, kingfisher, and even deer were fun to see. We swam at the end of the dock and relaxed in front of evening campfires. We thank David, Rosa and Eric . In short, we would definitely recommend this cottage.

Well stocked and beautiful kitchen, watersports, firepit, tv/internet comforts!

We came for 3 nights with two kids age 8 and 10. Immediately got into cottage and settled in. Kitchen is well stocked. Internet was easy to use. Watersports kayaks and canoes ready. Had lovely evening campfires too despite cold weather. Host was responsivw

Great stay!

We had a very nice stay at David's cabin. Kitchen was wonderfully stocked including some food! Every amenity we could think of was available (lots of great touches). We even managed to do level 1 charging (120V ~12A) with our car from the very nearby outlet. We spent our time at the cabin grilling, swimming, paddling. In short driving distance we explored some trails, the wolf sanctuary and a couple of breweries. It was a great getaway this summer (though I could imagine it working quite well in other seasons).

Relaxing

Had a great time. Cottage was very clean and had everything we needed. Property is spacious and has a fair amount of privacy. Very quiet area. Canoes, kayak and paddle board were all made available. The nearby village has some of the little things you might need and Haliburton has everything else. Overall, a great property at a great location. Highly recommend.
