Great home on the lake, secluded, quite great views and a perfect place to sit at the end of the day on the boat dock.Well stocked with everything you need for a extended stay. Highly recommend.

Great location and owner

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The view is amazing and proximity to VIR was key. We didn't use the lake or dock other than to just enjoy the view!

Absolutely must visit!

The host were amazing. Great communication and very helpful with places to eat and things to do. The house was very clean and comfortable and the property grounds very well maintained.

Excellent experience

The property was clean, amenities were excellent. I was not proficient in booking and Chris was very patient and helpful. Highly recommend this property for a family looking for a relaxing vacation.

Relaxing & quiet

Beautiful, spotless, comfortable home only 15 minutes from VIR. Chris is helpful & friendly, my family will stay here any time we have a race at the track

Gorgeous

House and property was beautiful. The house had a nice cottage feel and clean. Very peaceful during the whole stay The boat dock was fun we watched the sun sets and floated around the cove. Fishing was great Really fun time and the view was gorgeous! We will definitely stay again.

Pet friendly lake house with beautiful view. Communication with host and check in process was excellent.However, the water at the house had a strong sulfur smell. AC unit right outside bedroom window making it too loud to use and sleep.

Great house, very peaceful, beautiful lake view!

Great stay, place was clean and nicely equipped. Chris has excellent communication with guests, thank you! We really appreciated the access to the kayaks, too! Wonderful view, very peaceful part of lake! Lots of wildlife viewing - herons, egrets, a bald eagle (!), and pretty sure we saw an otter!? :)

Beautiful Getaway at Hyco Lake

We are seasoned "VRBO" vacationers and our family agreed that this was the cleanest and nicest place we have ever stayed at in this area. We love the lake being right there by the house and cannot wait to comeback to fish and relax some more. The house has everything you could need and any essential item that you might have forgotten. We felt well taken care as guests and had a great time away. We will be coming back as soon as we can.

Hidden Gem

This hidden gem is FANTASTIC! It is clean, comfortable, inviting and quiet. The screened in porch was great for coffee in the mornings. The location on the lake is quiet with not a lot of boating traffic. Communication with the host was easy. Just can't say enough about our stay. It was perfect. Would definitely stay there again. Thanks for your hospitality.

Beautiful location. Clean house, ac worked great! Driveway was in tight but there some property just up the hill for the trailer we pulled for the race car. Owner responded quickly with answers to questions ect.

The location was perfect. It was far enough out to enjoy the quiet, but close enough to necessities. Chris was a great host. He communicated all the information we needed in a very timely manner.

Beautiful property, Lake views, birds. Squirrel, and other nature. Host was very helpful and the air conditioning was a life saver after getting hot at the lake fishing. Great experience!

The house was very clean. Location is amazing beautiful views of the lake. This is a place you wish you didn’t have to go to your real home. The host is easy to work with and communicates well. This is a place I would definitely and probably will rent again
