Attractive, small well-maintained unit above the owners house. Owners were helpful & friendly when we ran into them. Just know what you’re getting & not getting. Outdoor stairs to unit may be a problem for seniors. No capacity for ice, only a dorm-sized refrigerator; no kitchen or stove/hot plate/sink, only a small microwave. Didn’t meet our needs, but we made do. Very pretty quiet area. Nice rural drives, and good history in the area if you like that (which we do).

For future guests considering the Country Penthouse, we do want to clarify that, as described in our listing, the space is a private second-level guest suite and includes a mini refrigerator, microwave, toaster and coffee maker rather than a full kitchen or cooking facilities. Access to the Penthouse is also by an outdoor staircase. We appreciate your feedback and will use it as an opportunity to make these details even more prominent in our listing so guests can be certain the space is a good fit for their individual needs before booking. Our stay at the Escape to the Country Penthouse was great. The accommodations were comfortable and clean, and the location being in the country and close to downtown Dickson is a plus.Our host Dana communicated well with us throughout our stay.

Great place

Much better and more economical than a hotel. The unit was clean and very comfortable. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Owner was great to work with.

Great weekend rental in a beautiful setting

We had a great experience here. Dana was very attentive. Everything was clean, nicely updated and suited our needs well. Outdoor porches were an added plus.
