We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. We found the living and sleeping space to be very comfortable and clean. Great communication with the host, would definitely recommend this house to others.

It’s a very nice place close by to Swan Lake. Jordan was fantastic at getting back to us on anything we needed during our stay! It was a pleasant overall stay for us.

We had a great stay with our family and dogs. We loved the privacy, the location close to the lake, and the nearness of the trails and Glacier National Park. We made lots of great memories and loved the beauty of the wildflowers in the yard. It wasn’t uncommon to see deer in the mornings, which felt so special!

Great time

Had a great time at the house and in the area! Great location being close to amazing hikes, nice small towns, and beautiful lakes. The house had everything needed for an extended stay and Jordan was very helpful with check in and any questions.

Swan Valley home away from home

Great base for exploring western Montana, great experience stay at this home. It was a little warm when we got there, however it was a pleasant surprise that the hoast had the portable AC unit running.

Beautiful Mountain Locale!

We rented this home as guests of a local wedding. The 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms gave ample space to sleep and get ready for our event. Communicating with the property manager was always easy. If you are in the Swan Lake area and need a beautiful location to stay, this place is it.

Perfect house for family. Very clean, beds are great and have done everything can do from previous people smoked in house. Stupid people! There are lots of mosquitoes, be prepared. Lots to do around property.

Very nice home, clean and well furnished. Only small problems were light bulbs out on front porch and basement bedroom. A low hanging bough over the driveway made it difficult to see the entrance. I was a little confused on how to connect with the owner, this being my first time using Vrbo.

Great place for a family gathering

This was a tranquil location in the trees near the Swan Lake day use area with a boat launch, beach, picnic tables and swimming. The home has a deck that was perfect for sipping coffee, meals and star gazing. The basement has a bedroom with an egress window and there's a bathroom downstairs also. Part of the basement is unfinished. When entering the home it smells as though cigarette smoker(s) may have lived there previously.

Okay at Best

I was honestly disappointed with the house. The smell of cigarette smoke was overwhelming, the linens on the beds upstairs and the beds themselves smelled very strongly of BO, there was dust and dead bugs and cobwebs throughout the house, the basement was unfinished, and the areas where the dishes were stored were dirty.

Not as described in description

Dirty dishes in silverware drawer , weeds grown up all around the place even coming up threw the steps , smells so musty , contacted owner and he said he was gonna have someone come out and clean up weeds no one ever showed, had to use the hose just to wet down around grill so nothing caught on fire.

The cleaner that was used during this review has been let go. The house has a dedicated cleaner and caretaker now, which reflects the updated ratings.

We enjoyed our stay! The home is very clean and spacious. The location is quiet and close to very beautiful views of Swan Lake. The yard feels private, but is very close to the main road. The home was very convenient for our adult family. Our host was very responsive, and we would stay here again!

Excellent property for a family with dogs and kids! Host Jordan was very helpful and communication was quick. Location of property right across from the swan lake day use area was great, and just a short drive to bigfork. An hour from west glacier gate which wasnt a bad drive at all. Would definitely book again!

Overall, our stay here was just okay. It wasn't quite what was advertised. The basement is unfinished. So in order to get to the 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom in the basement, you had to walk through an unfinished living area with concrete floors. The concrete in front of one bedroom was very rough and hurt your feet to walk on. Air Conditioning is advertised in the listing, but be aware this is only one portable unit. We visited during a very hot week. The first night we arrived it was 91* F inside, since the air conditioning unit was not plugged in upon arrival. We weren’t able to cool it down until the next evening and even then it was still warm inside. As other reviews stated, there is a lingering smoke smell that is strongest in the living room. As for cleanliness, the bathrooms, beds, and linens were all clean. The floor was pretty dirty. We had a baby with us that was crawling and she would have dirt on her outfit after crawling on the floor. This VRBO served its purpose while we visited Montana, but next time we will probably spend the extra money to be closer to Glacier National Park and other outdoor activities.

Hi Calli, Just so you're aware -- the 'unfinished basement' is within the description of the property and shouldn't be highlighted in this review. You were aware of that prior to booking. The AC is a portable unit and its in the guests best interest to use it when temperatures exceed 80 degrees. Last but not least -- the wildfire smoke has spread all across the country and anyone who leaves windows open may allow the smoke smell to intrude.

This was perfect for my family of 6. Kids loved the property with some forest to explore and play in. And really, really loved Swan Lake access 5 min away. The area is rustic, but that is exactly what we wanted (away from town). Glacier National Park is a good distance away, but you have extremely quick access to Swan Lake and Flathead Lake isn't too far away, and the property is very serene with forest surrounding it and flowers blooming right out front (in June at least). Host was very responsive and easy to communicate with.Thank you for a wonderful break from reality and for providing this property. Was a very enjoyable time.

Perfect for ys

We had a group of 6 adults, two teens and a baby staying there. Everyone was happy and the place had all the basics. Wonderful stay.

The area was really beautiful. The property was okay. We would have liked an internet that performed better. There was a nice selection of DVDs to watch which was great as were were unable to stream any movies. Also, as a family of six we would have liked to have the kitchen a little better appointed, as we cooked most meals in. The beach was a little bit further away than described. If you are visiting to see Glacier National Park it is a bit of a jaunt at least 60 minutes or more of driving. It was nice to have the ability to wash laundry. We prepared and brought groceries along which was a great help. Also, no dishwasher so bringing paper plates a definite positive. The property had a nice big yard which the kids enjoyed.
