Beautiful location to vacation. Bob was welcoming to my family and was helpful with all our needs. The home was big enough for our family needs. I sure will miss the sound of the river in the morning and evening.

Perfect for R&R

We had a great time at Bob’s property! First he was a fantastic host who made the entire process from booking to leaving smooth and easy. Our favorite part was taking in the river and wildlife with a cup of coffee every morning. The yard and view are even better in person. We will be back!

Lake County

This was one of our best vacations. The house was so beautiful and accomodating. The owners, Bob and his wife went out of their way to provide us with rafts, bikes, outdoor games etc. The view of the river everyday from the house was spectacular! It was truly a very special place for us!

Sheer Bliss

We had the best time on Rippling Waters! The beautiful river was our playground and we floated, fished and just enjoyed the beauty of it all. The home was so comfortable and well appointed and the owner was so dear and helpful. It was the best place to celebrate my birthday with my family!! We will be back!

Can't wait to go back!

This house on Swan River is the best rental we have had in 10 years of coming to the Bigfork area! The kitchen was stocked with everything you might need for making meals along with a pantry full of helpful items. The house was clean and had plenty of extra blankets, towels, and linens for our week-long stay. Each day we enjoyed watching the ducks and deer out in they yard and river, along with friendly people floating by the house. Access to kayaks and tubes for enjoying the river was a definite bonus.

Little slice of Heaven

Perfect Montana vacation base! Our family enjoyed this property tremendously! Hot tub, fire pit, hammock, fishing, tubing, and playing in the river right in the backyard, sauna, can’t get better than this! The layout of the house worked perfectly for our large group. We made all of our meals in the house kitchen and on the grill, the house had everything we needed. Bob was the best host, he even shared his raspberry patch and honey from his bees with us! We would go back in a heartbeat!

I absolutely loved staying at Bob's property. My family and I were looking for an extended stay in NW Montana for the summer as my husband and I can work remotely. Bob's home was the perfect fit for us. We wanted to stay in Bigfork and I prioritized being near water. Not only was Bob's property immaculate, it was the perfect set up. The photos DO NOT do the property justice. For our six week stay, it had the perfect combination of working space (plenty of desks, wonderful internet speeds), and relaxation space. The location on the Swan River was ideal. And, Bob made it so easy for us to feel a part of the community and enjoy the outdoors. He has kayaks, bikes, tubes, games, bear spray all readily available to his guests. We could just take the tubes, walk out into the river and tube downstream for a few hours after work. Bob sent us all kinds of tips on what to do in the area, and even provided a set of binoculars, sunscreen and bug spray. We cooked out on the grill, made s'mores by the fire pit, and waved to the many people who floated by us. We worked east coast hours and had a whole other day ahead of us to enjoy Glacier National Park, downtown Bigfork and the theater and local restaurants, cherry orchards, Flathead Lake, Whitefish. There was plenty of room, sheets, towels, and kitchen accessories for our family of 3 and our dog and for the many guests who visited us during our extended stay. I can't recommend the location, the host and the house enough. Thanks Bob!

Better than expected

Pictures can be deceiving, but not this time. It was better than advertised. House was spotless, yard was manicured, Bob was the perfect gentleman. Had a black bear visit the back yard! Super cool! Big Fork is a great small town. Make sure to get a burger at the A Bar just down the road. Only an hour to the entrance of Glacier State Park. Would definitely stay here when we go back. Thanks Bob.

Beauty and tranquility

We spent a week at this clean and functional home within a gorgeous setting. Place was stocked well with table essentials and recreational stuff for games floating and touring all of which were use for great enjoyment . When time and circumstance permit we’d love to come back for an extended stay. The owner was pleasant accommodating and responsive to all requests

Wonderful vacation in Big Sky country!

Beautiful house right along the Swan River. Perfect place for your family to enjoy hiking, fishing, floating the swan river or whatever you like to do. Bob was an incredibly friendly and gracious host. Made sure everything was perfect for us and very accommodating. We would highly recommend!

Family trip to Glacier National Park

Pictures are 100% accurate, beautiful property!! We really enjoyed sitting at the fire by the river at night. It is so very peaceful. We were also lucky enough to see deer and a black bear come through the yard!!

Beautiful riverfront home

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. Peaceful location on the river with an easy drive to explore Big Fork, Kalispell, Whitefish and Glacier National Park; it’s clean, comfortable with every amenity we could wish for, including a friendly and responsive host. We hope to return.

River Runs Through It

If you are looking for a magical getaway on a special property, then look no further than this one. First, the property host, Bob is an extremely nice person who makes you feel right at home immediately! He was there to greet us personally and took the time to show us all the amenities. The house itself was immaculate and was very well appointed with everything you need for your vacation. The property is right on the river and nothing could be more peaceful than just listening to the water rolling over the rocks while have a glass of wine in the hot tub! I cant recommend Bob and this property enough. So when you are ready to treat yourself to something truly special, book this home! Sincerely, Kit Boyd

Fantastic!

We loved our stay on the Swan River. The house was as listed and perfect for our family of 4 plus grandparents. The boys loved playing in the yard and the river. We floated in the kayak and tube, enjoyed the hot tub and sauna, and spent a great deal of time enjoying the large deck listening to the sounds of the river and watching the neighborhood deer. The location was great - close enough to town and activities but very quiet and peaceful. Bob was friendly, responsive and very helpful to accommodate us last minute after a local fire pushed us out of another rental. What a blessing in disguise! If we are back in the area we would definitely love to stay here again!

Perfect stay on Swan River

Spacious and comfortable riverfront property. The backyard deck and lawn perfect for relaxing and enjoying sights and sounds of the beautiful Swan River. Very peaceful and serene. Our host Bob was very friendly and helpful. Great and easy communication before and during our stay. We had fresh picked strawberries from the garden waiting for us in fridge upon arrival. Nice Bicycles and float toys available for use made stay extra fun. Spacious kitchen and laundry room provided comforts of home for a perfect vacation.

Great location on the river

Wonderful location on the Swan River. We went tubing and fly fishing right outside the back door. Bob provided 4 bikes so we cruised the surrounding area often. Clean house and comfortable home feeling. We did struggle a little in the evenings with the TV and using Roku but we didn't mind, given the wonderful peaceful location.

Relaxing retreat

My husband and I took our Golden Retriever w/ us for a quiet get away from Utah’s heat. We couldn’t have chosen a more perfect place: spacious, fabulous grounds, river access, places to walk, well equipped, very responsive owner couple, clean hot tub, and very quiet and secluded. We will return again!

Guaranteed Relaxation

We had a wonderful time. Bob meet us at the house to walk us through and we felt comfortable with everything when he left. We caught rainbow trout in the river, went kayaking and tubing, went on walks and bike rides and had a lot of down time with our family around the fire pit. We would definitely stay here again.

The house was great, location was great. And Bob was very accommodating.

Only isues were the hot tube was not working, but Bob made sure to let me know before we arrived. And the internet was very slow. Other than that it was a great place and we will for sure be back.

During the off season I have the reduced pricing for internet. I forgot to activate the normal service which probably was the reason for slow internet access. I will remember to activate the regular service during periods in the winter when we have guests. Sorry about that!

beautiful, out of this world!!

When we arrived everything was clean and welcoming. The beauty of the river and woods took our breath away. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.
