We’ve stayed in quite a variety of places and this tops it for quality and history. It’s an absolutely beautiful property and secluded enough that it feels like you’ve left the modern world, but the cabin has all the modern creature comforts you need to truly thrive. We only stayed two days, but we should have stayed for much longer! The cabin and property itself is a getaway, but there’s so much to do and see nearby too - especially if you’re nature enthusiasts. We’ll definitely be back and could not recommend the Lucky Lodge more!

Cute little rustic cabin, great location to visit Mt Airy, Stone Mountain, Blue Ridge Parkway and close to Interstate 77, home was clean and kitchen was well stocked,beds were comfortable. Loved the rug in the kitchen (took us back)! Also Sue’s Kitchen in Dobson was great! Thanks Ryan and Sarah for sharing your cabin with us and making our senior girls trip another enjoyable one!

We had a wonderful weekend. The cabin was exactly as advertised. It was peaceful and quiet, away from everything, yet close enough to town to pick up essentials. Ryan was always available when I needed to ask a question. Highly recommend this authentic cabin for a relaxing getaway.

Such a cute place! Private, quiet cabin perfect for getting away from the busyness of life! Plenty of space and hate we didn't have time to enjoy the firepit!

This cabin and property is fabulous! We had the most relaxing week - definitely one of our best getaways. Everything was clean and very well thought out. We very much recommend and will be back!

The cabin was absolutely perfect for our trip to NC. As step back in time to relaxed days sitting on the porch and just catching up. The children could run and play freely. The cabin was also well appointed.

Awesome authentic rustic cabin. Great location to nice restaurants and Mt Airy yet out in the woods. Loved the cozy living area with fireplace. The hosts were very nice and even let us know bad weather was coming in one night. I highly recommend this great cabin!!

Short and Sweet Getaway

Our family had a great stay in Dobson! The cabin was a perfect getaway to both relax and also enjoy the outdoors. Kids loved the creek. :) Would highly recommend!
