We spent a week in this wonderful apartment in October 2026 and loved every minute of it. The rooms were furnished very tastefully and well-equipped with everything we needed during our stay. The view over the roofs of Graca and castle hill is as splendid as the pictures suggest. It is only a few minutes' walk to shops, cafés and restaurants, to the magnificient Miradouro da Graca, or to St Vincent's monastery. Our hosts provided us with detailled and helpful instructions, and communication was very easy.

We loved every minute at this apartment. The views alone were worth every step up. And there are 50 of them from the ground floor! The apartment had everything we needed and was very clean. The balcony was our favourite place to sit after a long day on our feet. Each time we passed a window in the place we just had to stop and take in the view. Absolutely stunning.There location was perfect, lots of stores, restaurants, etc. within walking distance.We would recommend this apartment to anyone who is looking for a slice of Portuguese authenticity and charm.Thank you for sharing your home with us!

The apartment was in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. It has multiple seating areas and is furnished with antiques that give the place a lot of charm. The master bed was firm and comfortable. The shower/tub was easy to use and had great temperature and pressure. The kitchen had everything we needed, including multiple coffee makers, utensils, and some basic cooking supplies. The stairs to get up to the apartment could be concerning for people with young kids or limited mobility but it was fine for us. The patio is good sized for 2 people but would be hard to fit more people. The view is unparalleled! Everything we needed was in short walking distance - multiple convenience stores, a pharmacy, wine and souvenir shops, cafes, restaurants, wine bars, etc. The neighborhood did not feel touristy. The host provided a ton of info in advance about the home, the neighborhood, restaurant recommendations, etc. which was greatly appreciated. Note there is wifi but no tv, which was not an issue for us at all.

First of all the view is worth everything. The apartment is bright, clean, comfortable and very easy to live in. The neighbourhood is easily accessible and quiet at night. This was a wonderful stay.

This apartment was ideal for our visit to Lisbon! Lovely walking in a desirable neighborhood, easy to get an uber, clean, and wonderful communication before check in. Would stay here again in a second- thank you!

We had a lovely stay in the apartment. We particularly enjoyed the views and the selection of restaurants in the lively streets close by. Communication with Josef was always quick, warm and super helpful. Five stars all around!

You know what they say about real estate, the three most important items are location, location, location. This place is in the heart of Alfama and very near to Jorges Castle. There are Lookout points in every direction.Views from the apartment are very good, but you will earn them by traversing four flights of stairs. Worth the effort, but not the right fit for everyone.Plenty of room for my party of three. The apartment was well appointed with everything we needed. Our host Josef was very accessible and friendly.Not luxurious accommodations, but we'll appointed with a great location. Older building has all the amenities you need with a dash of old world charm.

Home away from home

We felt right at home in this charming character flat. The location was very handy to all the attractions, check in with Paula was a breeze and the hosts were lovely to deal with.

Great part of Lisbon to stay in. We initially found the steep stairs quite daunting but got used to them.

We had a wonderful time in this lovely apartment. It felt like stepping back in time but with modern amenities. Views of the city from the balcony were beautiful. Thanks for the recommendation of eating at Sant' Avo. The incredible decorations, host and food made a soggy day in Lisbon comfortable and delicious!

A Great Stay

A wonderful apartment with views of the sea for morning coffee on the back patio. The apartment is spacious and has all the essentials- kitchen supplies, blankets, etc. Great location.

Convenient Location for Lisbon’s History

This is a lovely holiday apartment with a great view of the city’s historic area including St George’s Castle. My family approved of this location and size of the apartment.

We spent three nights in this wonderful, centrally located apartment in Graça. It is very comfortable, well equipped and bright, with great views! We would highly recommend it, and look forward to returning ourselves.

Beautiful apartment!

My family and I almost exclusively stay in VRBOs or similar and have for over a decade. This kitchen was small, but SO EXCELLENT. Well equipped with everything we could need! The windows let in fantastic light, the apartment was comfortable and clean. HIGHLY recommend.

Lovely

The apartment is perfect for a small group willing to climb the stairs for a beautiful view of Lisbon. The tiny terrace is a lovely spot to sit and discuss a wonderful day of Lisbon sightseeing with wine and snacks purchased easily from shops nearby. The location of the apartment is ideal for seeing many sights.

Great Location

The apartment was as advertised and in an excellent location in the city. The checkin and checkout went very smoothly. The only negative comment I have is that the beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable. We found it very difficult to get a decent sleep, which was unfortunate.

We are surprised about your feedback. We bought new good quality mattresses last year. They are modern and according to the current standards in Portugal of medium hardness. Nobody ever complained about them, on the contrary, we even had some compliments on the comfort of the beds. Charming apartment in great location

Wonderful charming clean apartment let’s you experience Lisbon and feel like a local. Yes there are very steep stairs and no air conditioning but it wasn’t important to us and a lovely view from the top floor. Helpful responsive host and Paula nearby is wonderful. We highly recommend. Ideal location to walk everywhere.
