Located in the Sherwood Community, you will find this cozy cabin tucked away on 40 acres of private land surrounded by complete wilderness. It is waiting to provide you with a quiet secluded vacation for you and your family to enjoy.

If you’re looking for seclusion, but still want the activities that Hochatown and Broken Bow Lake have to offer, this cabin is the perfect location. With a 33 minute drive to Broken Bow Lake and a 24 minute drive to Hochatown, this cabin is secluded enough to offer privacy, but close enough to offer activities!

If you want to get away from the crowds and have room to roam or if you want secluded lodging and a short drive to activities in town, then the Bedstead Retreat is the cabin for you!

Wonderfully Secluded

Super secluded and off grid. We loved our stay. Super quiet location in the woods. Be prepared to bring any activities. We have at&t but still only had service outside the home.

Cabin in the woods BIG MISTAKE

We got there Thursday night it was pitch black couldn't figure out how to get inside finally found the code together inside in the pouring down rain and it just got worse from their no curtains on the windows no privacy !!!!! if your gonna charge so much money I suggest at least have Wi-F

Wonderful

What started out to be a bad situation turned out in our favor. Using VRBO, we made a reservation for a long weekend to match our days off. Once made, I was told VRBO double booked and we would have to change dates. Since that was impossible we finally settled at cancelling and booking your property (our good fortune). Since that time I have been fighting with VRBO for a refund on the first booking. It hasn't been easy but I'm down to only the Insurance cost still not refunded. I didn't need to have two policies. All that being said, we would return to your property in a heartbeat. Thank you for your help in turning a bad situation into a very enjoyable extended weekend.

Secluded getaway

Very nice, clean and well maintained property. Was exactly as listed. Quiet. Very enjoyable and great to reconnect with each other without the interruptions of the internet, cell or other things.

Cabin in the woods

We had the best time at this cabin tucked back in the woods! The only thing we had to get was our groceries that we wanted for our stay, everything else we needed was provided! We had a couple days of unplugging from the word and spending Christmas just the four of us! It was so memorable. The cabin was decorated so cutely along with a full size Christmas tree! The cabin was also so clean!

Breathtaking...

The best part of our trip to your cabin was walking in the front door and taking in all of the beauty inside the place. Your pictures do not do it justice. The cabin is so clean, huge spacious floor plan and tons of acres of seclusion. Absolutely perfect for a weekend getaway from "life". Thank you for sharing this wonderful place with the world. We will definitely be back.

Perfect family getaway!!!

What a beautiful, clean and quiet cabin! We so enjoyed a place to stay after our Friday night football fame in Broken Bow! Movies to watch, porch sitting, drives into Hochatown for bowling and corn hole in the front yard. It was a great place to stay! And having everything we needed from a box fan to bug spray was so great! Thank you for a peaceful weekend!

This Cabin is amazing! It is out in the middle of no where but perfect for a escape from reality and relaxation! It was very neat and clean and the wrap around porch was perfect to sit outside. We really enjoyed our stay!

My family had an amazing stay. We saw beautiful stars on the first night. We played games and watched several movies. We also saw wild turkeys next to the fire pit! There were 6 of them! We relaxed and enjoyed the nature. Thank you!

Perfect cabin to unplug and enjoy your time

We loved being able to unplug and spend time with each other without electronics and distractions. The cabin was so beautiful and cozy! Sitting around the fire pit with the family was by far my favorite part! We will definitely be back to the Bedstead retreat!

Relaxing

We didn’t get to the property u til the night, we had called Sondra earlier because the location was a bit difficult for us to find. Due to excessive traffic and us getting hungry we made it to the cabin after 8. Needless to say it is pitch dark no light but those of our cars. We were a little scared due to how dark and secluded the area was but we thought hey it’s Halloween time so we took it a a haunted trail ride. We saw a deer fir the first time and finally made it to the cabin which was beautiful. We weee not impressed about not having much phone service or wifi but thanks to the owner of there were games. Needles to say I’m a pro at dominoes now. They scenery was beautiful, we took sone amazing fall pictures outside of the cabin. We got more than expected we will definitely be back. Thank you!
