Cozy Farmhouse Suite with Amazing river access

Columbia Wetlands Outpost Farmhouse Suite. Enjoy our cozy and well-appointed 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom suite (sleep 5 guest). The living area has a table, desk and kitchenette including toaster oven, mini-fridge, blender, and coffee maker. Just off the living area is a screened door leading to a balcony with a barbecue and patio set. Relax on the patio taking in southern views of the farm, mountains, and wetlands.
Enjoy a hot tub, steam shower or a Jacuzzi tub. Take a short is a 3-minute walk to our captain’s dock on the Columbia River. Spend the evening outside at our fire pit area, located on the hill side behind the suite. Rent an e-canoe or kayak for the day to explore the Columbia River wetlands. Also available on our 135-acre property is hiking, paddleboard rentals, farm tours, disc golf, cross country skiing and fishing. You and your company will find quiet space and opportunity to unwind while enjoying mother nature. Our desirable location offers convenient access to a multitude of mountain activities while being removed from the hustle and bustle of day-to-day life. Take a relaxing holiday at the Columbia Wetlands Outpost Farmhouse Suite. We are located 18 min south from Golden, 50 min from Lake Louise and 90 minutes from Banff.

Fantastic spot for exploring British Columbia. The farmhouse is like a home from home and very comfortable! The bathroom in particular is brilliant. Mark and Marie were great and we really enjoyed our stay!

The house was quaint, but had the basics for our family to enjoy the surrounding area. The kids enjoyed the bunk beds, the big tub and watching the train go by. The location was quiet and had great views.

Great getaway in the mountains that's not too far from Golden! The kitchen had everything you needed minus an oven, the rooms were comfy and air-conditioned, and the amenities were excellent! With only a 15 minute drive from the town, what's not to love?

We had a wonderful stay in this cozy farmhouse. The staff was extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoyed our visit. Highly recommend this place.

Splendid active outdoor family vacation

Sparkling clean, home away from home, with hiking and adventure out your back door. We stayed for 5 days and could have stayed longer. Many thanks to our hosts!

Cute and cosy stay in the woods

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful house with a very personal touch. The bathroom is especially spacious and there are several areas where you can kick back, relax and enjoy the atmosphere of the surrounding nature.

Get away with old friends!

We spent a couple of days with old friends exploring all Golden has to offer and this was a perfect home base. I had trouble with the lock and Mark came right away to help out! I would recommend this wonderful spot to anyone looking for a quiet convenient place to stay close to Golden.

Such a fun place to stay

Lovely accommodation with everything we needed, comfy beds, great BBQ, kitchen table was perfect for playing boards games on! We had such a good time here. We wanted somewhere to stay that had activities on site and wow the slip n slide and pools were great fun for me never mind the kids! We also hired a canoe and paddle board for half a day and the helpful staff at the amazing dock gave us great advice and we had a great paddle.

Magical

Wonderful hidden gem. Gorgeous views and not only an outdoor hot tub but also an indoor jetted tub perfect for relaxation. We ventured for 8kms without even leaving the property. Trails go on and on. Cutest area along the river across the road with even more hiking trails. Will definitely return.

Beautiful cabin in amazing area

Cabin looks much better in reality than on pictures. Rustic style and amazing views from windows and balcony. Big bathroom was awesome. Kids loved huge bathtub. Very comfortable beds. Very clean. It was very relaxing to spend the time in this cute cottage. We loved morning coffee by firepit on the balcony admiring the views and evening tea on the same balcony by firepit under the stars. Hot tub in the evening with whole family was so much fun. The area is full of nice surprises. Beautiful nature plus fun areas for kids that you can't find in the city. Great place to enjoy simple pleasures, to have a break from city rush and stress. We loved it and we will come back! Moreover hosts are very, very nice! I highly recommend this place.

Stay in Parson

The property was amazing! The house was great, excellent for a get away. There is so much to do on the property and in Golden. Immaculate. The owners were great, very helpful. Perfect place to go and unplug. We could not get cell service on the property BUT that was a god send! Short drive to town or a little town store. It was a little tough to find so ask the owners for specific instructions. I would go back in a heartbeat and would whole heartedly recommend staying here to anyone!!!
