The house was just as described, quiet and private, with a super easy check-in and straightforward communication from our hosts. We'd definitely come back!

We had a wonderful stay! We enjoyed the ping pong table and pool table.The house was nice and clean and the host Jenni was amazing. 5 star do recommend

The house was very clean and well-lit. We felt very safe and it was a quiet area of the road. Everything was easily accessible and had multiple sleep options and a great kitchen to cook. We would definitely book again.

Great Family Weekend

Had a lovely stay at this property! Beautifully appointed, comfortable home with everything a family could need. Kids had a great time in the large yard with the provided games/toys.

It had everything we needed for a nice stay for our sons wedding at Marion Magnolia Farm.

We were no there too much because of the wedding but while we were there we were comfortable. The house was very clean and decorated nicely.

Great house on Donnell Lake

The house was very clean and well maintained with all towels and cooking supplies that you would need. We would happily choose to stay here again.

We loved the quiet neighborhood and the gorgeous lake views. The indoor and outdoor spaces are so roomy. The kids enjoyed the downstairs space with all of the games and access to their own tv. The location feels remote and serene, but you are within a ten-minute drive to numerous restaurants and stores.

Great Long Weekend!

We enjoyed our stay at this wonderful home over Labor Day weekend! The kids had a great time playing in the lake and so did the adults. Location was easy and convenient to go into town for items each day. Overall we enjoyed our time here and would return!

Pretty house by the lake

Jenni was the perfect host, super friendly, inviting and supportive. The cabin is newly renovated, sits quiet on a nice lot of land. Trees spend enough shade so you can observe rabbits & chipmunks throughout the day. We truly enjoyed our stay here.

The host was very nice, however, it was advertised as a full kitchen, and there was not any measuring cups or anything, we had the Max amount of guests that the listing had and there wasn’t enough dishes, nor was there enough toilet paper or anything for two nights for that many people. This posting says that there is a Queen sofa pullout, but it turns out the pullout was replaced so there is no pullout on the couch. It also was advertised that it was on the lake, but the way that the ad was listed and the way that the pictures were it seemed that the house was literally on the lake into the backyard, but it is actually down the road. The house itself was gorgeous and we had a great time, the pool table and other activities downstairs were so much fun. We were just bummed that the lake was not part of the property.

Hi Jessica, Thank you for your review. I am very sorry to hear you were not satisfied with your stay. We do have a full kitchen with all appliances. I was not aware that measuring cups were missing. What other utensils were missing? Sometimes guests put items in different drawers or things come up missing which is no problem but I like to provide my number to guests just in case anything is needed or missing during their stay. I could have had it brought to the house within hours. I checked the listing, we do not advertise that we are on the lake, we state we have lake access (down the road), we are directly across the street from Donnell lake. As stated via text, someone recently broke the pull out sofa and it was replaced with a brand new sofa. Two queen size blow up mattress were purchased to replace it which guests have shared are much for comfortable than the pull out sofa bed. I will be sure to update that in the listing and be sure to discuss toiletries with the cleaning crew. Thanks for your feedback!

Very Nice and spacious!

The basement was awesome for teen kids. We had some rainy weather so they were able to keep busy with the ping pong and games. The firepit was nice but only two chairs so bring camping chairs. Host was very friendly, and easy to get a hold of. Plenty of towels, blankets etc.

This was the perfect setting for our annual Ron Swanson Weekend…a five year tradition with our sons and their boys. It’s planned by “Pappy” and always includes survival skill building, team building and good ol’ guy stuff, but they never know what to expect until they arrive. This year, they all participated in the Muddy Kids Run in Sturgis and your lake house was the perfect location and offered so much for them to do following the run. The basement with game room topped the weekend off perfectly! Great location, great house, lots to offer! Communication was a breeze! 10/10!

Can’t say enough good things about this place! We had such a busy weekend but my friends and I are hoping to plan a trip back soon when we have more time available to hang by the water. Communication with the host was above and beyond and the place was so comfortable and was the perfect home away from home with plenty of linens, towels and kitchen/grill supplies. Thank you for the great place and hospitality!

Great for weekend getaway

If anything, the property exceeded our expectations in terms of space, furnishings, privacy, and comfort. Three couples and our teenage son found the cottage supremely comfortable for a Notre Dame football weekend. (As listed, it is a 45 minute drive to campus ). We wish we had more time to take advantage of relaxing and enjoying the pool/ping-pong table. Jenni was very responsive at all times.
