The entire stay was nothing but exceptional. The host was very informative, knowledgeable, and helped make the stay all it can be and then some.

Heaven in the countryside

This was, without a doubt, one of the best places we have ever stayed. The attention to detail, the quality of the furnishings, the charm of Mary, is all unmatched. We will be returning!

Beautiful property and host!

Wish I had been able to stay longer. The property is absolutely beautiful and so quiet. My mom and I had a wonderful walk around in the morning - great exercise and views. Mary is a wonderful treat and extremely gracious. Hope to see her again!

5/5 StarsOur stay at Mary’s Alpaca Farm exceeded every expectation!After my wife Ellen’s recent knee replacement, we were looking for a peaceful getaway that would also be comfortable and accessible. Before booking, Mary patiently answered our questions and assured us the studio was all on one level, with only a small step to enter and a walk-in shower. Everything was exactly as described.The studio was spotless, beautifully decorated, well equipped, and perfect for a relaxing weekend. We loved the peaceful countryside and, of course, the alpacas! Our beagle, Gracie, loved it too.What truly sets this property apart is Mary. She is one of the kindest and most thoughtful hosts we’ve ever met. She checked on Ellen, encouraged us to relax, and made us feel more like friends than guests.We’ve stayed in many vacation rentals over the years, and this ranks among our very favorites—not just because of the beautiful property, but because of Mary’s warmth and genuine hospitality.We can’t recommend it highly enough and hope to return! 🦙

Magical stay with wonderful animals and gracious hosts

My sister and I rented this guest home for a getaway weekend. Mary and Jay were incredibly welcoming hosts who clearly love their animals, and are eager to share their experience with them if you are interested. Incredibly, almost all of the animals on their farm - cats, dogs, mini donkey, horses, and one of the alpacas - loved being petted. The location is beautiful, private, and peaceful. Grateful for their hospitality.

Gorgeous property!

Beautiful property, alpacas were so fun to see! Pool was an added on fee we didn't expect and had limited hours but if you're not planning on pool, it was a lovely stay.

Great overnight stay

Really enjoyed the property! Was in the area visiting some local wineries. The room was very comfortable, Mary was great! Would definitely stay again. If the upstairs apartment is occupied, you will be able to hear people moving around.

Dare you not to smile at the Alpaca!

Not sure who I enjoyed more, the Alpaca or hostess Mary! Both were terribly charming and will bring me back. Location was perfectly situated for Great Meadows horse show. Studio was everything needed plus more!
