Welcome to Wilstone Lodge. Tucked away on top of a ridge on quiet, private walkable roads. Amenity access to all of Sapphire Valley Resort. Walk to waterfalls in the national forest from our neighborhood. 20 minutes to downtown Cashiers. Fiber internet, excellent cell coverage. Step-free access to the main floor and bedrooms. New Brunswick 8 ft pool table in lower level. Open concept floor plan with chef's kitchen and 30 foot vaulted ceilings. Amazing mountain views from each of the 4 bedroom suites with attached private bathrooms. Enjoy crisp fall weekends, summers in the cool mountain air, springtime with the blooming laurel and rhododendron, and the pristine stillness of winter at our mountaintop retreat.

Fabulous home with an incredible view- fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, amazing porches- the house has it all! The host is super responsive and has thought of every detail to make guests feel right at home! Excellent location- truly a 10/10 experience!!

This cabin is amazing and the view is jaw-dropping. The owner appears to have thought of everything. We were so happy at all the little touches like easily accessible ports for chargers, comfortable and clean throw blankets, and foaming hand soap in every bathroom. Lots of handy notes all around the cabin helped us every day.They also provided fantastic guides to local hikes and we did the private access hike to Carlton falls (a 30 minute DRIVE from the cabin but only a 45 minute hike from the cabin). The owner was very quick to respond to messages and gave great detailed responses. Note that Google Maps struggles a bit with getting to the cabin. Shortly after the GPS navigation stops there is a road that has a sign noting a private property trail. Turning up that road will lead to the road the cabin’s driveway is on. While there are some restaurants in Cashier’s, the road to and from the cabin is narrow and winding. With the kitchen so well-equipped, we preferred to stay in the cabin and cook for ourselves to minimize trips down the mountain. Getting to town is definitely doable, but I much prefer this cabin as a stay-in vacation.

Million $$ views! Fabulous house. Perfect for a trip with friends or family. Lots of space.

Family getaway

Wonderful property, spacious, great kitchen and perfect deck with fireplace and unbelievable views. Our family enjoyed being able to hike steps from the property and the beautiful accommodations.

Great mountain home

Everything about our stay was 5 stars! The house itself is amazing with terrific views. The house is very well stocked. The beds are super comfortable. Communication with the owner was great. Will definitely be back!

Wilstone Lodge is truly a gem—offering a peaceful setting with some of the most spectacular views!The location is perfect for lots of outdoor activities, hiking adventures or simply spending the day at the house relaxing, playing a game, and then taking in the spectacular sunset from the deck. The house was clean, cozy and equipped with everything you could possibly need for your stay.Jamie is an excellent host and really has put so much thought into making your time at Wilstone as comfortable as possible. From the detailed email sent prior to our arrival, to the great welcome guide provided at the house, with helpful tips, hiking and restaurant suggestions and lots of info about the entire area. She has created a home away from home for her guests.We had a fantastic stay and highly recommend the Wilstone Lodge! We will definitely be back.

Home is very comfortable and very well equipped. The decks are spectacular. The sunrises and sunsets were breathtaking. Owner extremely helpful providing information on the area.

Relaxing Getaway

Beautiful and spacious home in NC mountains provided a quiet and picturesque location for my adult family members to meet and reunite. Plenty of comfortable seating around the fireplace in the living room while two large decks and outdoor seating offered wonderful views of the surrounding mountains and valley below.

Great getaway

The house was great! Everything was clean and well maintained. The owner is easy to work with. This definitely isn’t the typical bare bones rental. The view and property was great.

Sapphire Getaway

What a great view! Our family enjoy a peaceful, relaxing stay at this great mountain home. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Plenty of activities down the mountain: restaurants, golf, shopping and more. Also we were able to do a hike from the house. We will definitely be planning to stay here in the future.

Beautiful home… interior pictures do not do this house justice. Can’t beat the location and the view. Owner super responsiveness and helpful.

Wonderful property!

Wonderful property! Just as pictured. Extremely stocked with items so I would suggest stopping by the house before heading to the store so you can see what you actually need. I’ve never stayed at a property with better views. We all enjoyed our time here- from adults to children.

Amazing mountain lodge

Amazing property with amazing views. Well stocked kitchen and so many amenities. Jamie was very helpful with recommendations and was quick to respond to any questions we had. Loved that there was detailed information. You simply can’t beat the views from the porches! Can’t wait to return.

We recently fell in love with the Cashiers/Sapphire area as an escape from the heat and humidity of almost 30 consecutive summers in Charleston, South Carolina! My husband and I are both from Chattanooga, Tennessee and we feel very much at home in the mountains.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

When we were looking for a mountain home, we thought we wanted to be closer to Asheville. Then we looked at homes on the Cashiers-Highlands Plateau and the elevation won us over. We are still very close to Brevard and Asheville. We are in love with the lush beauty and waterfalls in Panthertown Valley which is accessible on foot from the front door of Wilstone Lodge.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

The Nantahala National Forest is 0.4 miles from our doorstep. There is something calming about being in a place where you can walk around and not see many cars or people. But if you need to, you can drive down the mountain and be in the Cashiers grocery store check out line in 20 minutes with a Starbucks in hand!
