This is a beautiful oceanfront cottage with a pool and a large living area that opens to a dining area and a kitchen! The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, a microwave, and all the appliances the group chef will need. There are hardwood floors throughout the cottage, with ceiling fans in each room. There are also three cable TVs, a DVD player, and free WiFi. For a relaxing time outside, there is a covered porch, a private pool, and an enclosed outside shower. Enjoy everything that Holden Beach has to offer by staying in this lovely home.

Decent house

The view from the porch was perfect, and it wasn't a long walk to the beach. The house needs a little TLC, but it was a decent place to stay for a great week.

Great house Great location

We had the maximum number of people allowed and it all worked out fine! Great location on beach, maybe half mile from store, close to ice cream shop, the pool was big plus!

Bikini bottom is the perfect beach house

Location was great. Pool was nice to have since we had lots of days with yellow flags for ocean rip tides. Located very close the general store, which had anything we needed. House is spacious. Room sizes were great. Our family had the best beach week here. Would 100% stay here again.

Wonderful

My sisters and I visited for 4 days for my 50th birthday and it was just perfect for us. Great private pool and our own walkway to the beach. It was just what we needed. Had a wonderful time.

Excellent stay

We really enjoyed our trip to Holden at Bikini Bottom. The house was very accommodating, kitchen had everything you might need. Washer and dryer within the unit is very nice option! House does need some repairs and updates, including electrical outlets to be replaced as they are loose and cords fall out, new fridge needed to accommodate food for group, second shower knob to be replaced as it doesn’t work properly. Beds were comfy and furniture/unit was clean and welcoming! Pool was excellent and easy path to beach.

Decent house with great beach access

Location of the house is great but the house is dated. There is a grill at the house despite the rental company not listing it on the listing. The house is serviceable but there are nicer houses. It is for sale so hopefully whoever buys it will put the needed money into the house. We did have an enjoyable week at the house.

Would not recommend Bikini Bottom

While the pool was nice, there are a number of other issues with this house that need to be addressed. Not providing details here, but has done so directly to Vacasa and the homeowner.

The perfect location

Our family enjoyed everything about our stay at this house. The porch facing the beach was our favorite part, as we could enjoy the ocean even when it was raining. We also loved the sliding glass doors so we could enjoy the oceanfront benefit even on the couch. Everything is very comfortable, and while it is a no-frills kind of house, we had everything we needed to cook dinners there. Things I suggest you bring: (1) ground coffee (2) a spray cleaner for kitchen counters unless you are okay with bleach (3) beach chairs and toys — pool toys were the only thing there. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would return.

Excellent value!

We took 4 teens to the ocean and they had a blast! We have green freedom to go where they walked on the island and they took advantage of it. They actually were off their devices and had so much fun. We didn’t even have to bug them. The house was great, plenty to cook and bake with. Beds comfortable. We had a minor issue and maintenance resolved it in hours. I would definitely recc staying here! Beautiful views and located in the middle of the island. 16 miles of biking and gorgeous views!

Just Fine

House worked for the needs Outdated, old furniture, decking broke while we were there and washer broke as well. Vacasa was great but wouldn’t rent this home again

Another Wonderful Visit!

This was our 2nd visit to Bikini Bottom and everything was great! It was super clean and had everything we needed. The starter toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher and laundry detergent were so nice to have. There was 7 of us and there was plenty of room for us to spread out. We highly recommend this home!

Very comfortable accommodation

We were four adults and three teenagers and we never felt crowded. Lovely bedroom furniture and comfortable beds. Excellent kitchen facilities; we were easily able to cook our Thanksgiving dinner. Would certainly come again!

Had a great week

I loved the beach front location. Having a pool. The full width of house covered deck was wonderful. Full view of beach and full waves sound from the deck. Heaven. Felt like I was on the beach when I wasn’t. I rented house for myself, daughter & son and their spouses and my four grandkids. The beds were clean and comfortable. No bugs anywhere in house. The pool was very clean. While we were there it was maintained every other day. Bathrooms could use some a little updating TLC. Not great shower water pressure but it got the job done. The two bedrooms on the left of the house were noticeably warmer than the living area and the bedrooms on the right. If you keep all the adjoining doors open in the day it helps cool them from the living area coolness There’s two separate thermostats. Living area, kitchen and bedrooms on right were actually chilly at times and we raised the temp. TV in every room except for one of the queen rooms. Kitchen could use some added items. Only two dish towels. No dish cloths. One shower door needed a clip and the clip was never brought back and installed. Picnic table and six comfy rockers on deck. Picnic table and grill on ground level. Nice reclining chairs at pool. Like so many pools these days it does not have a hand rail. Has built in seats. Can not see the beach from pool level. We had three vehicles. Two parked under house and one out farther to the street which allowed the other two vehicles to be moved in and out as needed. We did bike rentals, jet skis and ice cream at Beaches & Cream at opposite end of bridge. They change the special flavors through out the day. You can watch the live menu board on their website. Too cool! So very many unique favors. Best if all were the sea turtle nests on the beach. Two grandkids actually witnessed a sea turtle make it way back to the water after depositing her eggs. Volunteers were there to protect her and mark her nest. Another nest hatched before we got to the rental. They checked it after three days and one little turtle hadn’t made it to the top of the sand so the volunteer gave it a helping hand and it made it’s way to the water. This was observed by a controlled crowd. Such a wonderful memory never to be forgotten. The fishing pier is within sight but it was closed. This house was built in the late 60s. I love the left over character from that period. Yes I would definitely rent this house again for the good all around beach feel and experience.
